Trump’s skeletons are outside the closet — 32 Comments

1. What I meant by this stuff being in his closet is not that it’s secret, but that it hasn’t been widely publicized by the mainstream media yet. Why? Because most of the MSM are allied to the Democratic party, which wants Trump to be the nominee. They think they can beat him, and they may well be right. They’re saving this stuff up until he’s the nominee, and then it will be trumpeted–pun intended.

2. Wooly Bully:

Yes, but why haven’t the GOP candidates, or anyone against Trump on the GOP side, published it?

Are they afraid of what a President Trump would do to them?

3. Statistically speaking, it is highly, highly probable that his company or subs employ illegal aliens on a massive scale. MSM will spring it in October. Golf courses, hotels, restaurants and construction all employ illegals.

4. Cornhead:

That information isn’t secret, either. I think I wrote about it in a previous post (don’t have time to find it now; I’m in a hurry).

That’s the puzzling thing. It’s not a secret.

5. In this race there are no thoroughbreds, i.e. no paragons running. At post time, on derby day, I’ll check my accumulated Daily Forms, while keeping this comment by Anthony Trollope (1815-1882), in one of his parliamentary novels, in the forefront of my mind. “The best carriage horses are those which can most steadily hold back against the coach as it trundles down the hill.”

6. Neo

Wooly Bully is absolutely correct. MSM and Dems holding the stuff until he gets the nomination. Then the rollout begins with targeted videos via Facebook. His already bad unfavorable so go through the roof. Trump wins two states. Biden wins 48.

Mission accomplished.

7. neo-neocon Says: “Yes, but why haven’t the GOP candidates, or anyone against Trump on the GOP side, published it? Are they afraid of what a President Trump would do to them?”

I doubt that, but I don’t really know. Perhaps they don’t take him seriously as a candidate, and figure that he’ll self-destruct before or during the early primaries. I myself still think that’s what’s most likely to happen, but the recent polls have been disturbing. If Trump does well in the early primaries I expect they’ll take the gloves off.

8. Most of this involves a capitalist acting like a capitalist with other capitalists. It’s the way PRIVATE business is done at the highest levels.

Will Ms. Neoneocon look at how the Clintons, for instance, became centi-millionaires by abusing PUBLIC funds?

No, of course not. And neither will her pals in the drive-by media.

9. Spy Magazine (run by sleek well-fed MSM tooltoy Graydon Carter) had entire issues devoted to harassing Trump, the “short-fingered vulgarian,” back in the 1980s. This stuff is online. It’s suspect, and should be taken with a grain of salt, but it also shows a familiar pattern and practice. The “short-fingered vulgarian” sobriquet bugged Trump so much, apparently, that he chased down Carter repeatedly to show him that his fingers were not, in fact, short. Also, he apparently tried to sue some other people named Trump because they had (before him) named their business Trump Something which he contended was a trademark violation.

10. Tuvea, the Clinton corruption and fraudulence and all-around vileness has been repeatedly showcased here.

11. Tuvea:

Neo has devoted a great deal of attention to the Clintons, as I recall.

I don’t believe this is just “a capitalist acting like a capitalist”. This speaks to character. The stories about Trump, as Neo says, are legion. Are there similar stories about, say, Mitt Romney, another extremely wealthy businessman turned politician?

Oh, and for the record, I don’t think you mean centi-millionaires. Those would be people with a hundredth of a million dollars, i.e. $10,000 or more. You probably mean hecto-millionaires, or something like that.

12. Maybe Christy could do a piece on how Trump made Atlantic City great again. Trump brags about how he bailed in time. He didn’t give a sh**about the people of Atlantic City. He would probably deal with the Chinese if he thought he could control Hong Kong.

13. They havent published it cause he is transparent about his good stuff, and his bad stuff and does not hide either…

so what?

but i have read the “other side” to many of those stories, not just the press versions, and other details… they turn out to be a lot of sound and fury about nothing with lots of lies of omission to create an image that isnt 100%… ever see that before? after all, unless you KNOW whats missing, well, then you will be completely shilled by it, and the sheep will be afraid of a sheepdog.. and would prefer a wuss… neville chamberlain over Churchill…

we wont know till we know what he will be like. he can turn out to be one of the bests and then secure his name and legacy for hundreds of years or be the worst and end up like Millard Fillmore….

Also, ever notice they will tell you what they “did” but not why they did it, or what reasons were their choices.. they are soooo good about telling us about what men think, witout having to ask men, and even know what obama thinks… but they cant tell you why’s when the why’s are inconvenient to their campaign.

The Trump Organisation’s appeal to the Supreme Court rests on an interpretation of a 1989 electricity sector law and on whether government approval for the wind farm was too “imprecise, void for uncertainty and unenforceable”.

case details here: https://www.supremecourt.uk/cases/uksc-2015-0160.html

Mr Trump has been a vociferous opponent of the planned £230m European Offshore Wind Deployment Centre, an 11-turbine project located 3.5km offshore from his development at the Menie Estate, north of Aberdeen.

how many people fight to keep apartment buildings built so they can see out their window? how many people fight ordinances that take their lifes investment in a home, and turn it into diddly?

lets be real here..
He was building a great golf course like several he has built… the clients of such a place pay a fortune to be exclusive members. the course in ky near mom is $200,000 per year membershiup fee… he was making an investment not just for the land but for the view that would attract people to the course to play

however, after that agreement, the state decided to spoil the vista with a wind farm… and the enjoyment with the whoom whoom whoom of low frequency bass sounds that make people sick…

this is akin to making a vacation center and wanting to spend a half billion dollars only to find out after saying yes to the town council and starting the project and spending millions, they decide to put the new garbage dump next door and downwind. (and that they been planning that from before your negotiations!!!!!! and didnt tell you)

NONE of the articles are very clear about posting that. and he knew that he would never earn his money back, or even make money once they did that… ie. they were going to ruin the investment and all.

would you continue as in venezuela where they wanted you to sell below costs and lose your money or would you take the cheaper way out, and pay fines and such?

which would YOU pick? and please dont tell me i am so rich i dont care i lose money, that attitude does not keep wealth, make wealth, or even care about using the tool correctly.. (money is a tool)

look at the freaking timeline (and i am skipping a lot of costs, misery and games)

January 2006 Word leaks about the project

March 31, 2006 Trump confirms the rumor

April 28, 2006 Trump hears about the windfarm and says that he may scrap his project if it goes through an ruins the value in the vista

May 24, 2006 RSPB worries that the wind farm and the course will hurt the enviornment (clue in the game of green extortion)

November 27, 2006 Mr Trump unveils the plans for his £1bn resort claiming it will be the “greatest golf course in the world”. The 1400 acre development includes a championship golf coure, a hotel, golf academy and holiday homes.

[note that the wind farm is 1/4th that price]

March 30, 2007 they submit for the course, greenies block it saying the resort would cause “significant advere changes” to the area.

September 11, 2007 Aberdeenshire planning officials recommend that councillors approve the golf resort.

September 11, 2007 to curent period greenies mount tons of protests and want something from it (like in the US)

ecember 4, 2007 The Scottish Government makes the decision to “call in” the plans stating they require consideration at a national level.

May 14, 2008 The plans for the golf course are altered to account for the impact on the dunes.

November 3, 2008 The Scottish Government announces following an inquiry that Mr Trump’s plans have been approved.

July 9, 2012 Mr Trump touches down in Scotland ahead of the opening of his new course.

THE figures published by a national newspaper reveals shortfalls of £1.7million in 2012 and £1.8million in 2013 for the Menie Estate resort in Balmedie, Aberdeenshire.

now.. does anyone know HOW business works.. that for each project, a business is created under a business… just like hollywierd who makes a new business for every movie and scraps it after production…

so there is a business entity under the main and the investors and others are protected from being responsbiel if the business goes bankrupt… same thing that keesp them from going afer your house if the stock you buy goes belly up

things get done and that project/business either is profitable or its not. if it is, they keep it going and reinvest and take profits in dividends.. if it is not, they close it down, just as a mom and pop store closes wehen they fial.

what people forget here is that there is no promise of success and the requirement to endlessly dump everyones money into a loseing thing

now tell me, if you were running alosing business, would yuo close down if you dont see a way to make money, or would you sell your home and cars to fund it till it closes down?

14. Another possible reason why the GOP has been pulling its punches against Trump is that they prefer him to Cruz. If it comes down to a choice between Trump and Cruz–and it’s starting to look that way–a lot of them prefer Trump. They think they can make deals with Trump, who wrote The Art of the Deal, after all. They don’t like Cruz–he’s “nasty”–he’s not a dealmaker. We’ve already seen signs of them leaning towards Trump.

15. The Left likes to keep their blackmail and personal assassination research ready, but won’t deploy it until the right moment comes. Just as they did to Petraeus, they will “wait” for the proper moment. The strategic moment that most benefits the Leftist alliance, and their own pocket books too.

16. by the way. they built similar things by atlantic city, and are giving out permits and they are also being sued by corporations that are public and people are not going to atlantic city as who wants to pay to watch industrial views?

the existing Jersey-Atlantic Wind Farm, on the back bay in Atlantic City, keeps drawing tourists. The five-windmill facility on the grounds of the Atlantic County Utilities Authority invites curious visitors in to see the windmills at noon every Monday and Friday of the summer, and they show up steadily, from all over.

“We probably average about 30 people,” for a tour says Monica Coffey, an ACUA spokeswoman, “but we’ve had in excess of 70.”

tell that to the borgota who closed after opening as those things are in its view. and maybe some tourists like them, but they are not 1.5 million a day high rollers… think they would allow such to happen outside casinos in monaco?

And there’s no direct evidence that they affect house prices, in fact the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors says they don’t.”
–RenewableUK (aka British Wind Energy Association)

Wind turbines blow down property value, says expert veteran Chicago property appraiser, Michael McCann, adds his own rebuttal to RenewableUK’s deceit.

I appraised this home prior to the approval or construction of the Consumers Energy Lake Winds project in Mason County, Michigan. All pre-turbine comparable sales considered, this property was worth $190,000. Nice home on a small acreage lot, remodeled and updated, great view of apple orchards and a rural countryside.

17. MEDIA TO TRUMP:

“I’m under your spell like a man in a trance
But I know darn well, that I don’t stand a chance so
Unchain my heart, let me go my way
Unchain my heart, you worry me night and day
Why lead me through a life of misery
When you don’t care a bag of beans for me
So unchain my heart, oh please, please set me free”

18. Ymarsakar Says: the left…

your right.. this is how they control both sides.. you either comply and can play, and they hold it over you to get things while you serve…

or

you refuse and they make you look bad and someone else that has something on them gets to serve.

ergo ipso facto, so many bad things from that process crop up in scandals, and if the person has it wash off, its a display of the power of the lefts ability to protect you from the past mistakes

now, what makes that power work? caring about it to the point you wont elect someone! we the people requiring high standards and ignoring the game empower this process of the left selection..

The ones they pummel the most are the ones that there isnt enough stuff, or the stuff they have isnt working, then BOTH SIDES dog pile to get rid of the person, the newspapers comply and all is mobilized.

but the people who dont want to learn the mechanics of these things so they understand how it works and what is being done to them, will just get sucked in and forget their part in the play

so clarence thomas was creamed by a woman making claims that compared to other facts on the opposition side are worse.

Barney Frank
In 1985 Frank was still publicly closeted. That year he hired Steve Gobie, a male prostitute, for sex, and they became “more friends than sexual partners.” Frank housed Gobie and hired him with personal funds as an aide, housekeeper and driver and paid for his attorney and court-ordered psychiatrist In 1987, Frank evicted Gobie after being advised by his landlord that Gobie kept escorting despite the support and was doing so in the residence

so what did he do?

The Committee found no evidence that Frank had known of or been involved in the alleged illegal activity and dismissed all Gobie’s more scandalous claims; they recommended a reprimand for Frank using his congressional office to fix 33 of Gobie’s parking tickets and for misstatements of fact in a memorandum relating to Gobie’s criminal probation record // [who ran and was the committee?]

thats how this game works (in part) and we enable it by the stuff that is going on as debate here… its amazing to watch such smart people not be able to use their brains and time to research details to know if they are being lied to, gamed, etc..

19. There are some odd notions expressed here (for example, expat’s) which seem removed from the concepts of normal business practice, i.e., to make a profit, not to be “loyal” to others. The two can and should go together, but not for financial loss as the cost of loyalty. We’re not talking marriages here, for better or for worse, for richer or poorer (and most of us don’t honor the ” ’til death us do part” anyway).

Business is profit and loss. P and L. Business is not charity. Trump has no duty to “support” Atlantic City out of his own pocketbook.
Business has its own taqiyya: One may misrepresent and lie on one’s own behalf. As long as no law is broken, it is not illegal. Hell, we all know that, and we all live by it. Just as Trump has done.

20. And, yes, Trump has supported Kelo. It furthers his own potential interests, AND is the law of the land per SCOTUS. I dislike the Kelo judgment as much anyone, but the responsibility lies with the Roberts’ Court, no one else, and it would be silly and even demagogic for Trump to campaign against Kelo.

Fortunately, most states have laws now that have pulled Kelo’s teeth.
States’ Rights at work!

21. Tuvea:

You must be joking, or completely unfamiliar with this blog.

No defenses of Hillary here.

22. Frog:

Was anyone suggesting that Trump should campaign against Kelo? I certainly don’t think so.

The point is, however, that Trump adores Kelo, and he also tried to use its functional equivalent (on a local level) in Scotland.

A lot of business people might do similarly, but most of them are not running for office on the Republican ticket. I doubt most of Trump’s supporters have a clue about Kelo or Trump’s anti-liberty, big government love of it.

But still worse are the personal insults he hurled at the people who wouldn’t sell to him.

23. Wooly Bully…

I ditto your thinking.

The gravy train has to be pulled over and given a rest.

Dole, et. al. are terrified of either Cruz or Rubio halting the slush — with Cruz at the top of their hit list.

I’m of the opinion that the GOPe would LOVE to lose to Hillary… if it meant keeping Ted Cruz out of the Oval Office.

&&&&&

The economy is contracting globally.

By tradition, the markets usually swoon in the late Summer or Fall. (August thru November)

So the election is for the GOP to lose.

&&&&

It may not occur to many, but the GOPe is institutionally suited to being the pitied, minority party.

For the players are then relieved of any need to produce results.

Hence, McConnell.

24. Artfldgr:

I left the timeline in your 3:00 PM comment intact, even though the comment is longer than I usually would leave, because I wanted to respond to something in the timeline.

In 2006, when the project had not been built (and before Trump even had approval for it), Trump knew they were probably going to build a windfarm. He didn’t know for sure—I’m sure he was told a host of different things about the probabilities. But he knew it was planned and he knew it could happen.

He gambled and lost, and later he cut his losses. Nothing wrong with that; that’s business.

In the process, he made grandiose promises, in order to get HIS own environmental waiver for the government. He promised to invest a certain amount of money and that the project would create a certain amount of jobs. He turned out to be incorrect. We’ll never know if it was because of the wind farm (I’ve read plenty of stuff that says it was for other reasons, having more to do with his business choices and the fact that the area could not sustain or support another expensive golf course for the high rollers).. Let’s just say for the sake of argument that the wind farm did impact negatively on his business. He knew it was a risk, and he lost. He then fought it in court and lost. He never invested what he said he would, and it never employed many people at all. But then—and this is the important part—he lied about how much money he actually had invested. It was documented, and he lied about it—not what he thought he might spend, but what he had spent.

Right through the whole process, he publicly insulted anyone who crossed him, including the farmers who wouldn’t sell. He knew they were there before he made the plans and described the project. He knew they might not sell. He knew all these things. He rolled the dice and lost, made some bad deals, and then insulted people and lied about them and about his own finances.

That’s his choice. Many businessmen do such things, but I don’t trust them and they are not running for president. Trump is.

At this point, the people of Scotland mostly hate Trump. Rightly or wrongly. I think rightly, but that’s not the point either. The point is that he’s selling himself as a great deal maker who gets everyone to like him, and who’s not nasty.

25. Frog,
Lots of companies try to be good citizens of the towns and cities where they are located. Sure, it brings good PR, but still they recognize the value of having loyal workers and good communities where their managers live.

26. The GOPe — the donor class — is hip.

They also think that Trump will lose to Hillary.

If pigs fly — they can deal with the wheeler dealer.

&&&&&

If Trump were taken out of the equation — the odds favor Cruz running the tables.

Even Hillary sees that.

That’s when she raised a clarion call for more funding — and a swarm attack on Ted Cruz.

&&&&&&

I don’t think that Donald has a political ‘center’ to his personality.

His personality is the center of his politics.

He is very much of the old school — Sulla style.

That’s pretty spooky — since all of the worst tyrants in history had that exact same tic.

&&&

Scott Adams is predicting a blow out for Trump.

I think Adams needs sedatives.

Trump is extremely likely to have an INVERSE blow out — losing to a socialist.

27. Frog — I don’t know where you live, but here in California, fraud and misrepresentation in business are torts which can get you sued big time, with triple damages. Also crimes, if egregious enough.

Blert — Cruz would lose massively to Hillary, Bernie, or Good Old Uncle Joe (TM). He would get no Reagan Democrats and no independents. And the kids, the single women, and the African-Americans would turn out in droves against him.

We don’t need to see what happens when you run a principled conservative for President. We tried it in ’64. Lost the election 62-38%.

“The definition of insanity is doing something over and over again and expecting a different result.” — (It turns out that this wasn’t said by) Albert Einstein.

28. I have had a long, long day driving around on county and township roads in Winneshiek County. I see very little support for trump in my area of Iowa. The donald does not resonate with rural Iowa, which is where the vast majority of gop voters reside. Even Des Moines gop voters are more conservative than gop voters in NH. Its the ground game in Iowa that matters… the ‘full Grassley’ which means visiting all 99 counties. Only Cruz has done so.

I will spend Friday and Saturday on the road. Sunday I will head south for a Cruz event in Johnson County and sit with Eastern Iowa Cruz precinct captains. Caucus day will be on the phone until 6pm, then going to the caucus site before the doors are close and locked at 7pm. I may be wrong, but it feels like victory is in the air.

29. parker:

I certainly hope your intuition is correct.

I’m very nervous about Iowa and New Hampshire (and the rest, too, I guess, but they’re the first indication we get of the way the winds are really blowing). And thank you for all your hard work.

30. Watch Idaho’s borders, the Left usually ships in hundreds of buses at the right time to “Tip the balance”.

And it often goes unnoticed due to the stealth.

31. Looking at the map, I would check the Chicago to Des Moines routes for Iowa. As well as the south road to St. Louis. For points of invasion that is.
