CBO raises HCR estimate — 15 Comments

  1. It’s hard to believe that Obama has been phoning Euro leaders to encourage fiscal belt tightening. The man has no shame.

  2. I wonder if this will be reported by the MSM?

    Mr. Frank, remember that during the SOTU address Obama condemned out of control government spending. I think it is less a question of shame than sanity.

    I believe it was mentioned here at some time that he has some sort of dual personality disorder or some such thing; something that enables him to engage in some type of behavior and then deny it. And now the Wacko in chief.

    I wonder what he’ll be like once he is re-elected?

  3. I wonder what he’ll be like once he is re-elected?

    Bob, bite your tongue…er…slam a drawer on your fingers. Something.

  4. Occam,

    why not re-election? Obmessiah was after all the editor of the Harvard Law Review and and he is so cool and…
    Ouch, I just closed a drawer on my fingers.

  5. In other news the CBO now predicts that the sun will rise in the East tomorrow!!

  6. Bait and switch; we haven’t begun to see the nature of the black hole that the Dems with their Pied Piper Burak Obama are leading the country into…

  7. OT, but shocking as hell.

    You have to see this. From the excellent City Journal.

    “The Unread Soviet Archives.”

    http://www.city-journal.org/2010/20_2_soviet-archives.html

    Huge cache of papers ripping the covers off the Evil Empire, up to AND INCLUDING Gorbachev.

    Revealed: –Joe Biden’s truly despicable nature
    –What “Gorby” said about the Tienanmen Square massacre
    –How many were ACTUALLY killed there
    –How Neil Kinnock committed high treason against his country

    And much, much more.

    AND NO ONE WANTS TO PUBLISH IT. Dissidents have risked their lives to retrieve these shocking files, and no one in the West will touch it.

  8. Actually, it’s not OT. It’s the very Heart of the Darkness that we face. This is where it all leads.

  9. Isn’t this the kernel of the Cloward-Piven strategy? Create so many demands on the system for services and subsidies that the system breaks down. Then they will replace it with their worker’s paradise.

  10. ====================================

    > And no doubt that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

    Unfortunately, no, I think it’s much more like the tip of the Titanic

    :-S

    ====================================

  11. > Isn’t this the kernel of the Cloward-Piven strategy?

    Indeed, sirrah. This was suggested even before Obama was elected:

    Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis

    related to it is this piece:
    Barack Obama and Alinsky’s Rules for Psychopaths

    In the subsequent post to this one, neo points out this excellent Tony Blankley piece. Highly recommended.

    I think we get one last shot to start fixing this. After that, the avalanche will have gone too far to be stopped by any human forces.
