  1. To bad the same can’t be said for the Slovaks, being in Slovakia is like sitting in a Roman Catholic pew, very surreal — their national parties are very chauvinistic and nationalist — the only reasonable crew would be the Slovak Hungarian Party.

  2. Obama and his handlers are megalomaniacs. They talk about listening to other countries from around the world to “regain the respect that George Bush destroyed”. They may listen but their egos are too great to allow them to listen to someone from a country as “puny and insignificant” as the Czech Republic. And given the fact the guy is a global warming skeptic – he hasn’t got a chance with “The Obama-nation”. They will pat him on the head, tell him to be a “good boy” and send him on his way.

  3. Vé¡clav Klaus is currently the loudest voice of reason in Europe I know of.

He warns against ‘the brave new world of the “social and ecological market economy”’
and calls Europe back to free market economy and to classical parliamentary democracy.
He speaks up against the kind of “Europeism” the Europeans are up to right now.

For instance, in this speech (held in Paris)

He is a brave man, and if here are people around with influence and voice: please support him! (not in terms of money but give him a pulpit, share his ideas with your audience, show your sympathy!)

  4. My grandparents on my mothers size are czech… my dads side is latvian… my wife is chinese.. care to see how many bells on this game the rest of my relative hit? they all met bcause they all were forced from their lives by the circumstances of socialism.
