“Scott Walker opens up about White House ambitions” — 12 Comments

  1. I want competence and the ability to prioritize. Walker seems to meet these criteria. Now, if we could only find a way to make these traits go viral, we would be in good shape. There are some good people out there. We just have to avoid shooting them down on fringe issues.

  2. So far Walker has been a successful governor, team him with Ted Cruz and we may have a winning ticket.

  3. I’m beginning to think it can’t be a minority, at leaset leading the ticket, because the press wouldn’t let it happen. As horrible as White Republicans are, Minority Republicans would mean a paradigm shift that would threaten the very core foundation of modern liberalism.

  4. ” I guess I had a short vacay.]”

I am very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very disappointed in you.

  5. I guess Dr. Ben Carson also made a big impression at CPAC.

    Hmm…a Walker-Carson ticket in 2016?

  6. Ann, Walker-Carson sounds good. But 2016 is light years away. I’m keeping my powder dry right now.

  7. The Romney campaign, hopefully, will be the first shovelful of earth on the coffin that is the Republican Establishment. We will never accept an Establishment candidate again.

If anyone could have united the Republican party, it was Romney. He brought to the Establishment integrity and to the Tea Party, well, its hard to think of that one, isn’t it?

We shouldn’t continue to lose. Romney did not understand that, and we did not understand goodness does not guarantee wisdom.

}}}Perhaps even more notably, Walker wouldn’t commit to serving throughout a second four-year term.

What, you mean the way Hillary did, when she ran for re-election?
