  1. We need to ban knives and make knife manufacturers liable. Knives kill people.

  2. Islamists kill people, as many as they can. Satan demands it. Woman policeman with a gun killed him, so no virgins to rape in paradise.

  3. At least the Aussie police are still carrying firearms. I think this is not the case in the UK.

  4. There was the case in London where an Islamist was subdued by a civilian wielding a Narhwal tusk. The Islamist was doing the stabby thing.

It was at least 5 years ago.

  5. and you probably won’t, since the organs are all dhimmi,

so wray’s testimony was a bunch of hogwash, so director, these indications you have of an attack, where did they come from, we need to know to know if you want to renew the authority, was it phone intercepts, in person interviews et al,

btw we have memories of when you objected to a narrower surveillance system 20 years ago, along with comey fitz et al, what changed since

  6. Great video. I noticed the British+ accent immediately. + What? German? Huh, I would not have guessed that.

I was very amused by the dating via text messaging angle. Been there, done that. After a few casual encounters, one lady I was interested in, didn’t respond to my text message for a few days. Then she apologized that she had missed my incoming message when she was busy traveling to see her child and grandkids.

Don’t text someone until you’ve had 3 dates? How strange. I can’t imagine the logic of that. Nobody in my circle of new friends makes actual phone calls (with the obvious exceptions), whether the topic is dating or not.

The serendipity angle of Andrea’s story is interesting too. As a rational science guy, I can’t put any weight on coincidences. But, … As the character in a cheesy rom-com said, “There are signs everywhere!” I do experience an emotional pull to believe that there are cosmic significances to such events.

  7. Kate,
As someone who takes an interest in true crime stories, I believe that in the greater London area there are two categories of beat cops. The unarmed ones and the armed ones. And the armed ones have become fairly numerous. The rate of stabbings in the that area has increased considerably over the last couple decades or so.

But even worse, is the trend away from the old norm of non-lethal stabbings towards the lethal or nearly lethal ones. I saw a show where some older gangsters were interviewed, and they claimed that the native gangsters would only use violence to send a message or threat and not to kill. However, he also claimed that the newer immigrant criminals had no qualms about killing. Immigrants from where? Places like the Congo, he said.

  8. Those who do the stabby thing should experience the shooty thing, preferably right away.

  9. yes the suspect is quite dead, which is why it’s suspicious his name has not been released,

  10. Ah, 3 days. A little more understandable, but it still seems silly.

My experiences are with a much older crowd which I imagine makes a difference. There’s less emphasis on such trivialities perhaps, but then most of the people I’ve met in my age bracket are carrying around a lot of fairly awful baggage from their past.

  11. Presumption of Innocence for American men has been tossed outta the window. I thought Trump had it bad, but after 28+ years the hate for OJ Simpson looks to even follow him into his grave cremation container.

When did it start? #MeToo? Then Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh? Heck, women WERE TO BE BELIEVED even if it was “three decades” or more ago.

    presumption of innocence

A presumption of innocence means that any defendant in a criminal trial is assumed to be innocent until they have been proven guilty. As such, a prosecutor is required to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the person committed the crime if that person is to be convicted.

The presumption of innocence is not guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution. However, through statutes and court decisions–such as the U.S. Supreme Court case of Taylor v. Kentucky–it has been recognized as one of the most basic requirements of a fair trial.

  12. Cervantes, it’s 5 am in Sydney. Probably there will be a police statement in a few hours.

  13. TommyJay:

The 3-days thing is based on theories (and for all I know, actual research) claiming that if the other person seems too eager or desperate is a turn-off for a lot of people, and that keeping people in uncertainty heightens excitement and attraction. It’s a game a lot of people play. Maybe it even works in many instances.

It also may be a cultural thing in Britain – British cool and stiff upper lip?

  14. Apparently the Iranian attack drone swarm is enroute (flight time estimated at 8 hrs) , filmed and heard overhead from southern Iraq: 1) https://twitter.com/sentdefender/status/1779235814540476575?t=6FP8v-XcBWf0GWbXMCq2kA&s=19 , 2) https://twitter.com/Tammuz_Intel/status/1779235790284837288?t=Amg6ndTiMO3mzv83T6wHmw&s=19 , 3) https://twitter.com/sentdefender/status/1779234913528553850?t=Z9wDBIG4YR56kkcE4saBxQ&s=19

Jordanian airspace is closed and suffering severe GPS jamming. Iranian airspace is closed. Israeli airspace is due to close in two hours from now, 1:00am Israeli time.

Israeli cabinet meeting in one hour from now, in a fortified bunker rather than a normal meeting room.

So unless these appearances about-face quickly, it’s going off within the next few hours.

Oh, and not to leave aside an irrelevance, there’s this: https://therightscoop.com/breaking-joe-biden-suddenly-leaves-his-weekend-vacation-at-rehoboth-beach-to-head-back-to-the-white-house/

  15. Kate/Cervantes…
Sydney has a huge Muslim population. Probably Sharia law operates as “the law” in some neighbourhoods.
So if the murderer is any way Muslim, he’ll receive a polite treatment now that he’s no longer a threat.

  16. When some of the drones get through, will any of the usual suspects moan about Israeli civilians killed? Not likely.

    Lord have mercy.

  17. Just one perfectly executed hair flick. More than one would’ve been excessive, but just one, perfect.

  18. I don’t assume the drone swarm will be the sole form of attack Kate; my guess is ballistic missiles will be launched later to arrive roughly simultaneously. Targets, my guess, will be militarily significant and not against civilian population. But we, as the Israelis, will have to wait to find out.

  19. If the Iranians are rational the targets will be militarily significant. Russian missile attacks on Ukraine have been on both military and civilian targets.

  20. Russian refineries and oil export facilities are gong to receive even more “drone service calls” in the immediate future. Russia, China, and India will not be pleased. Nor will gasoline prices here be immune.

    What will Brandon do?

Stay away from the bus Ukraine, Brandon is posed to give you the heave ho.

  21. Gaza protester, 28, says she’ll murder lawmakers at public meeting – then sobs like a baby after being arrested and jailed over vile threats

    • Riddhi Patel, 28, made violent murder threats during an unhinged two-minute anti-Israel tirade at the Bakersfield council meeting on Wednesday

    • ‘I hope one day somebody brings the guillotine and kills all of you mother*****.’ We’ll see you at your house. We’ll murder you,’ she said

Patel was later arrested and appeared in court Friday where she was seen weeping uncontrollably as she was faces 18 felony counts

More of these terrorist protesters need to be charged with felonies…

  22. Here’s a music YouTuber I’m getting a kick out of, Andy Edwards. He’s a drummer who has played with Robert Plant, as well as with prog bands. He even founded a band called Neo!

He’s a bright guy who knows music and can extemporize wonderfully. I appreciate that he knows jazz and prog, which IMO don’t get near the credit they deserve in music discussions.

    Here’s an easy one:

–Andy Edwards, “THE 10 MOST IMPORTANT BANDS IN HISTORY | Ranked”
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Jqq0CWtxSI

Here’s one which addressed a question on my mind:

–Andy Ëdwards, “Why do modern Jazz musicians all sound the same?”
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zrp-2JPSoYE

His answer is that after jazz lost the nightclubs, jazz retreated to college music schools, which emphasized a virtuoso approach imitating the jazz greats. The individual voice in jazz was lost.

    Works for me.

  23. Followup story on the murdered 14 yr old shepard:

Libman recounted finding the body: “This was a particularly cruel murder. An IDF drone saw something unusual and sent us a waypoint. We were close to the area, so we went to search there and unfortunately found the body.”

“It was quite close to where he had set out from. The site was extremely disturbing. His head had been smashed with a rock, and three meters away was a knife covered in blood and another rock. His phone was smashed nearby. This was particularly cruel and horrifying.”

  24. @ Karmi, 10:20 p.m.:

Lmao. I can’t stop laughing. California, as nutty as it can be, has not quite yet achieved Borg-like solidarity in political views.

Bakersfield, CA is about as Democrat a place as any small town in West Texas.

Something tells me she’ll take the full ride on those 18 felony counts.

    I’m still laughing.

  25. Look at this website linked below, about a Cuban who came to the U.S. from Cuba’s socialist hell a couple of years ago, and the contrast in what we have here in the U.S. is for him astounding.

This should remind us of how blessed we are here, the relatively prosperous, peaceful, well-fed, safe, and orderly civilization which we have achieved; an all too often underappreciated accomplishment which we should fight like hell to protect, in the face of deliberate and determined leftist efforts to destroy our civilization, and to turn it into another Cuba.*

  26. Human beings are capable of doing some remarkable things.*

    Is this really real?

(I’ve read about this being possible, the technique making it possible to do this is called “Tum-mo,” an advanced form of Tibetan Buddhist meditation, which involves raising your peripheral body temperature as much at 16-17 degrees, and acquiring a characteristic red tone to your skin–note the red tone to his exposed arms. )

  27. Donald Trump: Israel Attack ‘Would Never Have Happened’ Under My Presidency – used to be during wars or defensive actions the ‘Other’ party would hold-their-tongue, but not w/ the egotistical diarrhea-of-the-mouth Trump.

Was a terrible Commander in Chief – who lacked the ability to lead or understand or control the American Military.

Biden & Trump may be the worst two Presidential candidates in history—including the last time they ran against each other. Jeez…we may even end up with Harris as president!?

  28. yes one gave iran 75 billion dollars to work with, one did not, one crushed the yemeni arm of al queda, islamic state and general suleimani

these are the sorts, that alec baldwin hires, as he wrote the script and was the producer,

  29. Speaker Johnson: ‘President Trump Is 100% with Me’

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) said on this week’s broadcast of “Sunday Morning Futures” that former President Donald Trump was “100%” with him.

Host Maria Bartiromo asked, “The former president, President Trump has talked about the possibility of turning aid for Ukraine into a loan. Is that what you’re considering?

Johnson said, “Yes. You know, I had a great visit with him on Friday, and he and I are 100% united on these big agenda items.”

Well, we’ll see, but at least Johnson is trying to find a way to help Ukraine before they go under. Of course, the GOP is great at screwing things up (see Speaker Kevin McCarthy & Matt Gaetz, and now Marjorie Taylor Greene).

  30. We’ll need some collateral for that loan, Karms, hopefully not contingent on beating the bear.

  31. Who do you think is the best young public intellectual working today?
Let me nominate the 22yo Rudyard Lynch — whose most recent video reached 300,000 viewers and was going viral until Big Sister took it down!

At least this is his surmise on his very slightly edited re-upload of “The Coming Incel Revolution” or Civil War or or Right-wing Backlash, as he’s entitled previous videos mining this theme in other ways or from different directions.

This newer title is unflinchingly direct. Provocative — fact based and well reasoned, and seriously literate.

After explaining the YT removal in the 6.5 minutes, the video proper begins.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jxdKvPcov98

In order to dispel the tu quoque dismissal, he also unveils more autobiography than heretofore to establish his cred as not just another Incel loser, deserving condemnation.

(Incel is a contraction or portmanteau of “involuntary celibate”.)

I’m still re-watching this fresh take, before I can opine. He’s very smart. And through sharing his thoughts makes one feel smarter, too.

  32. Boned Looser position; no matter what it mustn’t defeat Vlad. If Vlad succeeds what collateral wouldn’t he confiscate? Insist on impossible collateral and thus kill any possibility of aid to Ukraine.

    Ya think?

    Nope, they don’t.

Isolationists whose ends align with Vlad aren’t acutally “isolationists,” F’en fan dancers.

  33. Lets focus on what they did not promise to do as opposed to what they did promise

So give the deep state tools they are not worthy to yield sure secure the border ru u serious

Ah yes lets do a laser focus on incels

  34. Giving comrade comey and company so they can pursue more parents and fewer terrorists pretending the border doesnt exist so who is this isolationist bogeyman

  36. ee cervantes:

It appears you cannot walk and chew gum. Comey and the Brandon junta and the alphabet agencies are domestic threats. Vlad is in another nation. A larger war in Europe is not deterred by fixation on the southern border. Are you proposing to declare war on Mexico for it’s failure to control the cartels that are largely in control of the flood of illegals across the southern border? Or do we need to authorize the DOD and National Guard to take over Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and California to staunch the flood?

Fighting the domestic policies of the Brandon junta at the expense of Ukraine only assists Vlad and does not really bother Brandon as he just wants to blame the GOP for Vlad’s victory. As the Brandon junta don’t really give a rat’s ass about Ukraine, or Israel for that matter.

  37. They are the immediate threat do i need to give chapter and verse on everything they have done in seven years

How they continue locking up good people snd letting every thug and terrorist go free including this khargin fellow

  38. I finally watched Andrea’s video there. What a treat! I wish she had just done it in one or at least a few takes, as it seems she’s a sufficiently accomplished raconteuse* that she shouldn’t really need all those choppy 2- to 3-second microtakes going on. I find that stuff incredibly irritating. But in the end, she had a good story to tell and made it entertaining. “Thank you, ADHD. Thank you.” LOL

    * my impromptu coinage; if this word doesn’t already exist, it ought to. (huxley?)

  39. e e cervantes:

Even the average bears here know that the Brandon junta is the immediate threat but it won’t be solved until November.

If you are going to give chapter and verse, use punctuation.

  40. Re: Rudyard Lynch — Whatifalthist

    T J:

Interesting. His videos show up on my algo list. I had misread his channel name as Whatifatheist 🙂 so I didn’t bother.

I don’t know how far I go with him, but young white males are getting the short end and there will be consequences.

I had read about Calhoun’s Mouse Utopia experiments* before. I thought the first 20m of another Whatifatheist video specifically on Calhoun was excellent. The rest is good, though I’m not ready to sign off on all of it.

    –“How Degeneracy will kill Civilization”
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cTDTVbourzU

    * Calhoun set up mouse colonies for the most optimum breeding conditions, then recorded the apparently inevitable collapse of the mouse societies.

  41. One point Whatifalthist hits, which I find huge, is the profound implication of Calhoun’s experiments on current humanity, yet the complete lack of academic interest in replicating Calhoun’s work.

I’m pretty sure scientists don’t want to be caught replicating Calhoun’s work.

Our favorite YouTube physicist, Sabine Hossenfelder, has gone public on her disenchantment with scientific academia.

    “…Joe Biden Green-Lit Iran’s Attack on Israel”—
    https://redstate.com/bonchie/2024/04/14/new-joe-biden-green-lit-irans-attack-on-israel-n2172744
    Key graf (RTWT):
‘…There’s no way to sugarcoat that. The Biden administration told the Iranians it was acceptable to attack “within certain limits.” Were those limits adhered to? That’s something only the president and his handlers can answer (and never will), but given their rush to demand Israel not strike back, it would seem probable that everything went according to plan….’ [Emphasis mine; Barry M.]

All this is very “interesting” of course and would seem to echo rather significantly the “PERMISSION” Biden initially gave Putin to take Ukraine’s eastern regions but NO MORE. (Even if Biden’s remark was QUICKLY deemed by the State Department as “misunderstood” and was briskly walked back—to be sure, it’s entirely conceivable that the State Department, under the totally warped, bent and twisted direction of Honest A. Blinken, was lying.)

Which brings us to October 7.
Given that “Biden”‘s all-too-prevalent M.O. is “allowing” (or “accepting”…or “suggesting”?) “controlled aggression” whether by Putin or the Mullahs (and then denying it through qualification, quick walk-backs or ACTIONS—such as helping Israel “defend” against Iranian missiles and drones, the use of which, “Biden” allowed, if the report above is accurate, not to mention funded), the barbaric October 7 slaughter takes on a different hue…since how difficult is it, given the sinister nature of the current American REGIME, to reach the conclusion that OCT. 7 was just another “Biden” acceptance of “controlled aggression” that—perhaps (or likely?)—went far beyond what “Biden” ALLOWED/EXPECTED to take place.

No decent person should wish to believe such a thing…but given the nature of the corrupt scoundrel that “Biden” is, “his” policies, antics and ideology AND TOTAL AND UTTER LACK OF SCRUPLES, it is, one is sorry to conclude, ENTIRELY CONCEIVABLE.

To be sure, “Biden” depends on the fact that “no decent person should wish to believe” this sort of thing about “him”…IOW, he COUNTS ON IT for PLAUSIBLE DENIABILITY…(with further echoes of November 2020)….

Ditto for the way “he” has totally, utterly and criminally manipulated the January 6 “INSURRECTION”….

  43. Well if you cant reproduce an experiment what good are the results but at least sabjne is finding her way out of the cave

  44. Except that it’s an M.O. “he” seems to have become addicted to….

(To be fair, “he” is President Fentanyl-Tranq…and NO DOUBT, “he” believes that such elaborate intrigues are the epitome of sophisticated subversion—or, as “he” might call it, “RESISTANCE”—especially when there are some “allies” who really must, alas, be taught a lesson…or two…for their own good…)
