RIP Major Uri Moyal, Israeli killed in terrorist knife attack — 23 Comments

  1. “The perp was raised in Gaza but he married an Israeli citizen and so he had Israeli citizenship, but being raised in Gaza almost certainly exposed him to poisonous anti-Jewish and anti-Israeli pedagogy there while growing up.”

That, along with the leftist western propaganda accusing Israel of both ‘occupation’ and ‘genocide’.
A common meme on the left is that the ‘oppressed’ are justified in attacking the ‘oppressor’ by any means, no matter how depraved and inhuman.

BTW, everyone to the right of the radical woke left is defined by it as an ‘oppressor’. So, in their ‘heart of hearts’ they fully embrace the notion that, when they finally get around to us… nothing will be off the table.

The persecution of Trump is very much a case of ‘the writing on the wall’, a ‘Canary in a coal mine’.

  2. RIP Major Mayol.

It is what the Hamashites and Westbankonians are known for and do given the opportunity.

IIRC defense with firearm requires at least 3 seconds and 3 yards distance against a trained knife atacker.

  3. And contrary to the narrative of the Hamashite and Westbankonian apologists, Israel didn’t spend metric tonsof money over the decades on border walls and physical separation from the savages for no reason, bombs, guns, and knives used by the savages on civilians young and old, for decades, are the reason.

  4. well we saw our first shaheed private bushnell go all flambe, and they went well it’s because of his cult upbringing, this is the dynamic that charles mcarry saw nearly 50 years Ago in Better Angels, they were called the Eye of Gaza, then when Hamas, was still a gleam in Sheikh Yassin’s good eye, when UBL was still at King Saud University to take over the family business, we have seen this mostly with Europeans like Rachel Corrie, in Samaria, there was the likes of Muriel DeGauge, who was a basis for a character in the second season of sleeper cell, (she was a Belgian married to a Moroccan)

  5. The Major’s training kicked in. He knew exactly what to do, but it didn’t save his life. He saved other lives though. May he RIP.

The Dems want to ban guns. Then it will be knives. Then it will be baseball bats. Then it will be hammers. Etc. Humans have used whatever they could lay their hands on to kill or maim their enemies since time immemorial.

There are no lasting solutions for peace and goodwill among men except the Golden Rule. Until that becomes widespread and durable, I want to keep my guns.

  6. Saint Rachel Pancake was from Olympia WA and went to The Evergreen State College in Olympia WA to further her indoctrination. She was an American leftist.

The Department of Energy (DOE) recently updated the regulations applicable to blade length of knives allowed in DOE facilities and DOE-contractor facilities; blades must be shorter than 2.5 inches. This could affect Leatherman-type multitools etc. Note that box cutter knives typically have an exposed blade less than 1.5 inches. What will the DOE do about that?

  7. so was Diana Oughton, Bill Ayers main squeeze, who was a victim of his failure to properly wire blasting caps , to the trigger assembly, I guess he took a gentleman c at the Camp Matanzas facility run by the DGI, these people will eventually go from thought to action, of course they will be considered ‘mostly peaceful’

  8. One for one is not good enough.
Good for this hero. He should never have been in this situation.

  9. My words-Terry Robbins + Diana Oughton , I believe- were in the 1960s-1970s, far-left, American, terrorist group- named “The Weather Underground”.
As far as people know- Robbins + Oughton died, when the- criminal, weapon-bomb they were building, accidentally exploded.

I’m not trying to be facetious with this comment.
I’m also [not] making this comment to support: the W.U., or any other group that makes criminal bombs.

Regardless- I look at the deaths of these two people, [in the 1970s?], and suggest that people leave: bomb making, gun making, + the chemicals-making, to- the professionals who can do these jobs almost flawlessly…every time.

Like the signs they put in our schools’…science classes, say: “Unless you have extra fingers and extra eyes, please don’t mix the chemicals without permission.”

To me- that safety slogan also applies to: making [bombs + explosives], and to making firearms.

  10. Althogh the motive appears to be islamic terrorism, what happened to Major Moyal is no different than what occurs multiple times daily in the large metropolitan areas of our own country, usually without the islamic component. Ride a bus or subway and you are taking your life in your hands. Likewise, walk down the street at the wrong time of day or in the wrong neighborhood and your life may be forfeit. And the people in what laughingly passes for our government ignore this. Worse, they encourage it by eliminating law enforcement and allowing the invasion of millions of illegal aliens. And please spare me the sanctimony of “huddled masses yearning to be free.” Si vi pacem, para bellum.

  11. The man in the white shirt did very well, he took a man armed with a blood soaked knife to the ground and I believe he backed away because the Major told him to clear out so he could shoot the prick.
He was probably military trained and it gave the Major time to rack a round.

  12. My hat is off to CSM Moyal.

Deepest condolences to his family and friends.

    Islam delenda est.

  13. From a comment about Dara Horn’s Atlantic article. Related to the murder of CSM Moyal, particularly the last paragraph:

“She still polished her bona fides, ‘You Atlantic readers should pay attention to me because I still condemn Israel:’

“‘The many legitimate concerns about Israel’s policies toward Palestinians, and the many legitimate concerns about Israel’s current war in Gaza…’

“Admittedly, she does go on to say: ‘… cannot explain these eliminationist chants and slogans, the glee with which they are delivered, the lawlessness that has accompanied them, or the open assaults on Jews.’

“But she still had to get that DIG in about Israel.

“I have such a hard time with people who defend Jews, even defend Israel, but just HAVE to add how “problematic” Israel’s policies are.

“Did a one of them think that just maybe Israel’s policies are “problematic” because for decades a sizable population, both within and just outside its borders, has been chomping at the bit for Israel’s destruction? No, because everything is ALWAYS Israel’s fault; NEVER anyone else’s”

    End quote

  14. Ugh. Well, I’d guess the perp wasn’t too smart or trained which is good. He tried to grab the Major’s head or shoulder.

The scariest video of a stabbing I’ve seen was at a NYC subway turnstile IIRC. The nearby perp moved in, stabbed 3 times, and moved out again in about 3/4 of a second.

I agree, that the bystander who controlled the knife hand did a fantastic, if dangerous, job.

The video brings up a common gun handling debate about “Israeli carry.” Apparently, because in Israel’s early days they had so many different models of firearms, they adopted the safety practice of always carrying firearms with an empty chamber. So the Major must first rack a round into the chamber before firing.

Unless he fired two shots, he had a lot of trouble getting that one shot off. He’s right handed and does a conventional draw, rack, and fire; which I think doesn’t work. Then he switches hands, gun into his left hand, pulling on the slide with his right hand, then switching the gun back to his right hand again before firing.

The consensus in the US is to always carry with a round chambered. Use a manual thumb safety if you must.

  15. There is a gripping fictional TV series on Netflix called “The Golden Hour” about a terrorist mass attack in Amsterdam. Dutch language. It’s shocking in that, with a few exceptions, it’s quite believable how much damage a several terrorists can do with a disarmed populace.

  16. Just to add to my above point:

What I’m trying to say is:
making: guns, or bombs, or other dangerous objects, is best left to the [masters + professionals], who can do it the most [safely], + can do it [legally].

[Just as, this is a rule of mine- to protect these things from destruction or crippling: my arms, my legs, my fingers, + my life, it is best that 1] I don’t try to make my own motorcycles or chainsaws- when I don’t have the skills to make them, and I don’t have the legal permission to make them, and 2] it’s better that I let the masters…who have all the needed skills to build these things, and all of the legal permissions to build these things, build them instead.]

This is probably a good rule for me, and for everyone else, as well.

    Cheers.

  17. The important thing of course, Did the Hamas guy apologize before he assumed room temperature?

  18. Saint Rachel Pancake was from Olympia WA and went to The Evergreen State College in Olympia WA to further her indoctrination. She was an American leftist.
    ==
She was the daughter of an insurance executive. By all appearances, her mother and father were witlessly compliant with her whims. (It later emerged she was shot through with psychotropics as well).
