The passing of the RNC guard: Michael Whatley and Lara Trump are elected — 6 Comments

  1. Whatley has been very successful in NC. The statewide party chose to focus on judicial races in the last cycle, and wins there have been very important. I hope he will be successful at the RNC. At least his focus is likely to be on winning.

  2. }}} which Trump has falsely claimed was fraudulent and stolen.

    Aka

which Trump has alleged was fraudulent and stolen.

“Falsely claimed” presumes the answer is unquestionably known, AND known to be such to Trump — something which just ain’t so.

Of course, these are the same “Bush lied, people died” liars, so… quelle suprise?

  3. I seem to recall that Rence Prebus’s tenure was extremely great at fundraising.

  4. They sound committed to winning, and further seem to understand what is required to achieve that goal. I am tempted to send them some money, something I would not do while Ronna was in charge. For reasons unknown Trump endorsed Ronna last year over Harmeet cementing his legacy of bad personnel decisions.

  5. Kate, are there any updates worthy of mention on Mark Robinson’s prospects in his gubernatorial run?

Jaynie, while fund raising is certainly important for a political party, I would still like to see a 10 to 20 point “Contract with America” that we can get pledges in support from potential R candidates. We still need a decent way to separate the Repubs who “know what time it is” from those who are seeking a career as lucrative back benchers.
