The “Israel commits genocide” club — 29 Comments

  1. Be wary of any group that has ” peace ” in their name.

I was reading some Muslim document recently, probably the Hamas charter – my memory not as good as it once was- and this Muslim document was basically saying the way to peace is under Islam.
Ok. They can keep their ” peace.”

  2. I’m tempted to break out my Spanish invective from Alvarez Guedes our Lenny Bruce type although he was more Will Rogers in manner

  3. I really think that the people in these NGOs are too young to have witnessed real genocide or have forgotten what it is like. If the Israelis were committing genocide Gaza would be looking quite different.

  4. the chinese have been deporting uighurs and sterilizing them, thats as close to genocide as you get outside a rwandan machete, maybe one from myanmar,

  5. NGOs certainly follow Conquest’s second rule of politics.

” Any organization not explicitly right-wing sooner or later becomes left wing.”

  6. Some months ago a friend was visiting NY and saw some evidence of Tibet resistance. Now I see that Tibet exists no longer. The Dali Lama is now 79 and still l living in exile. Does this qualify as Chinese genocide?

  7. well they call it the tibet autonomous region or ziyang province

yes the whole exercise is a moral obscenity,

  8. … this Muslim document was basically saying the way to peace is under Islam.

    Jon baker:

I believe the Qur’an is one such document.

  9. I know this is a bit callous since the topic is Israel and the recent war waged against it, but NGOs are another example of the evil our tax code fosters by taxing income. An income tax is amoral and leads to evil in many ways. This is one of them.

The U.S. government should not tax any corporation’s income a.k.a. “profits.” The only legitimate taxes are consumption taxes.

Eliminate the taxation of profits and corrupt NGOs lose a great deal of their power and effective, well intentioned NGOs continue to flourish.

  10. I think that in order for a charity to keep it’s non profit status and so that donations can be tax deductable, there should be some maximum salary limit for all employees, perhaps not including personal security cost *. Maybe a number some specific times the official ” poverty level.” And yes, I include churches in this, as well. There are church leaders that are nothing like the first century church leaders that selflessly gave their lives to spread the gospel.
    * I think the personal security cost should not be a part of that equation because there are non profits that might run afoul of violent groups and the leaders need protection.

  11. What’s wrong with all these people?
    Can’t all be Jew-haters.

Nope. Got to hate the west. The idea that the common people can choose their own paths and not those prescribed by the movements and governments in question.

And Israel is part of the west. So, anything Israel does, whether or not they actually did it, is a horrid crime. Anything its enemies do didn’t actually happen.

  12. Jon baker,

I agree NGOs are problematic, but to fix the problem you are arguing more government intervention and control. Do you really want to live in a nation where the government determines what a reasonable salary is?

You’re on the right track, now take it to first principles. Why should a government have any say or control over how much anyone earns and, why should a government have any right to confiscate any fraction of those earnings? The problem isn’t too many NGOs having tax exemption status, the problem is that every entity in the U.S. is not exempt from taxing “profits.”

If you want less of something tax it. If you want more of something subsidize it. Our nation taxes productivity (income) and subsidizes sloth (welfare). And we have a culture and media that worship leisure and chastise manual labor. I wonder how that happened?

Thanks for the weird non sequitur.

Won’t accomplish a blessed thing. What might be beneficial is for governments to stop embezzling tax money by making grants to corporate bodies.

  14. The list of nations and organizations that are anti-Israel have one thing in common – they’re all anti Judeo-Christian ethics, democracy, and free enterprise. The represent those who want (or think the want) authoritarian government where they will have equality. They just don’t realize that, except for the ruling class, it will be equality of misery.

The implementation of egalitarian governance has been tried many times. And continues to be tried as we discuss this. The evidence is clear to any who will examine it. It always leads to a small ruling elite, (the Nobles) and their subjects (the Serfs) who are invariably miserable.

The myth of an egalitarian society is so attractive to some humans, that they will lie, cheat, steal, and even murder to achieve it. These people believe, beyond all experience, that human beings are perfectible, and that they know how to bring that about.

This fact, along with the instinct for tribalism, is one why freedom and democracy are always in peril. They’re not a given; we have to stand up for them.

  15. Israel commits genocide.

I’ve got to salute the brilliance of this mindfuck.

It zaps the homo sap brain into a freefall trance (Israel? Jews? Holocaust? Genocide? Tilt!) and the virus is planted.

  16. I’ll let you all in on a secret. I like women. Even women who aren’t sleeping with me. I liked my mother and my grandmother and my sister.

You raped those women. Brutally. I can’t get it out of my mind.

What you don’t want is a jury of men looking for vengeance

  17. Human Rights Watch never pretended to be anything but an agitprop agency for third world commies. Back when Amnesty had a good reputation, Wm. Rusher wrote columns dissecting their hiring practices and their distribution of attention. They’ve always been poseurs. They’ve lost the art of being subtle about it.

  18. Steve57:

IIRC the sea is always trying to kill you. Both drowned attempting to board a ship in high seas (a bit more complicated than that, see cdrsalamander on substack).

  19. South Africa where blacks demonstrated their commitment to tribalism, savagery, communism, and racism. In ten years they’ll be back to where they were when the Dutch settled Capetown. Knew it would happen when the white leadership sold out the whites. De Klerk must be living it up in Switzerland.

  20. actually deklerk died 2 years at the age of 85, in South Africa, the reconciliation commission wasn’t really all that,

  21. The anti-Israel sentiment after 10/7 is beyond the pale. I live in the US, and as we know, our Country has been taken over by radical progressive left-wing maniacs, all the way up to the dementia-in-chief Joe Biden. These people are HATERS of not only Jews, BUT the entire Western World order. They will stop at nothing, to destroy not only Israel, but the rest of us, on top of it. Unless we stand up to these fascist/Nazi nut jobs we will LOSE! I stand with Israel; God bless you, Jewish brothers and Sisters! Destroy the haters before they destroy you. NEVER AGAIN!
