Out of sorts — 81 Comments

  1. The cafe folks I visit with in the morning seem happy. I’ve no doubt they have some concerns about the Dread Pirate Trump’s fraudulent claims of vote fraud, but otherwise the sun is shining for now.

Their team won and they are a simple folk, content to middle-finger their opponents and shout huzzahs for the home team.

  2. Dissatisfaction seems much more prevalent in the Left. We’ve already had some instances of Leftists in the public eye spouting vitriol and venom since the media proclaimed Biden the winner.

Many feel better that their guy won, and they feel safer and have more hope for the future.

But many others are already shouting louder about the same wounds, or venting about new ones.

I imagine most anyone who looks to politicians and political movements for their happiness will be miserable no matter how events transpire.

  3. Whatever happiness and satisfaction the Leftists may be feeling will be short-lived – they are the most miserable animals on the planet and they will soon be lamenting how much more there is to do to achieve their perfect utopia. And since perfection is impossible and – for reasonable, rational people who are rooted in reality – undesirable, their only hope is to mire everyone in their progressive tarpit.

  4. I’ve been avoiding all political conversation with my family and friends, almost all of whom are in the Trump-hating camp. Even more so than 4 years ago. Because back then you could get away with a Trump vote or no vote at all and maybe get a pass from that group. This time around they cannot fathom how any decent person could vote for the Orange Hitler knowing what he did over the last 4 years (although they probably couldn’t explain to me what specifically he did that hurt them personally), And of course, this time around they are making the lists and preparing the gulags. All of that said, I don’t see much jubilation on their side and I think it’s because they realize two main things. They don’t really have as much support for their agenda as they convinced themselves there was. And Trump wasn’t really the primary source of their discontent. Plus, they will now have to reckon with the impending crackup/civil war within their own party. That doesn’t give me joy. What would is for them to step back and rethink their assumptions and attitudes. I have little hope for that outcome.

  5. I have a hunch many of them are upset about things like this:

Barry Meislin: I guess it depends on which Democrats we are talking about. TCDITS (The Common Democrat in the Street) can’t be bothered with anything seeming to favor Republicans. Republicans are, don’cha know, all liars, bullies and racists, therefore unworthy of consideration.

The higher-up or political junkie types pay enough attention to be concerned and upset about such news. Eventually their talking points filter down to TCDITS.
    ________________________________________

*TCDITS is based on TCMITS, “The Common Man in the Street,” which used to be an acronym of moderate usage.

  6. Or maybe they’re a bit nervous about this:
    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8908101/Pennsylvania-Democrat-AG-sparks-outrage-saying-Trump-lost-win-state-election.html

Imagine that! The State Attorney General telling us BEFORE the election that Biden would take Pennsylvania.

That’s right, BEFORE the election. Are these Democrats bright lights or what? Uncanny? Eerie? Spooky? Bold?

So how did this prescient paragon (a Loretta Lynch wannabe, no doubt) KNOW that, exactly?

Maybe he’ll just tell us that he was “taken out of context”. Misquoted. Misunderstood. Trump made him do it. Etc.

Whatever it is, you gotta admit, it IS impressive! Even in these paranormal times.

  7. Conveniently, Kristallnacht was November 9-10, 1938. Timely reference.

I have had the same issues, and angry friends are still angry.

I’m not sad. Annoyed that people already want to “get it over with”. We waited 37 days in 2000, for one state, and really two counties, to be resolved. It’s naïve to expect that this will be resolved any quicker than that.

  8. As I watch the FB posts from these people, it seems most have moved on….Biden is now president and they are relieved that their “nightmare” is over. I still don’t understand, as others here have mentioned, exactly how they were so tortured during the last 4 years.

I saw earlier today that RCP took PA off the Biden win list, and that NC has now gone to Trump? Anyone else verify? The FB posts have been totally blank about these possible developments.

  9. I’m so happy. My taxes are going up. It’s patriotic to pay more taxes. The cost of everything is going up because taxes on businesses are going up. It’s perfectly patriotic to pay more for your necessities. The cost of heating my home and driving my car is going up as the price of ever more scarce fossil fuels will be increasing. It’s so patriotic to fight climate change. Isn’t it wonderful? Wow, we’re going to be paying more for healthcare so that the government can provide free healthcare to illegal, uh, er undocumented immigrants. That’s so patriotic. Not to mention the joy of welcoming the many new undocumented immigrants that will soon be streaming across our unsecured borders. It’s very patriotic to let them take jobs from low income citizens because I’m told that no one is “illegal” or something like that. Yes, and think of returning to a “normal” relationship with China where we get cheap manufactured goods and they continue to steal our jobs and intellectual property. Good times, heh? We’re so blessed that we can show our patriotism in so many ways under this new administration. Anyone who is unhappy must not be much of a patriot, ya know? 🙂

Yeah, it’s sarcasm. I’m thinking of sending it to my local rag to see if it gets any responses/

  10. Three of my five kids are lefties. I have not had much political discussion with them because I have not seen them in almost a year. We moved to Arizona to escape CA 4 years ago and usually drove over every few months to visit and see the new grandbaby. Not since last Christmas. One daughter was a Bernie bro and now has a daughter which might affect her attitude. After rioting in Santa Monica, only a block or two from her home, she asked if I could bring her another gun when I came to visit. The other two lefties are lawyers and impermeable.

  11. My brother and one sister have blocked me on Facebook and Twitter.

They are *really* going to be mad when Trump wins the Electoral College.

My brother and sister both went to Jesuit universities and are bright, but the thing that bothers me (like MollyG) is that they completely ignore the undisputed facts and are just consumed with TDS.

I’m out of sorts because I can’t figure out what’s going on. As I recall the 2000 Bush-Gore business, you could follow the thrust-parry-counter-thrust between the sides and on the issues, but this year I feel like I’m trying to understand what’s happening inside the Kremlin.

I’m not blaming anyone — maybe it’s that muddled and maybe the Trump administration must keep its hand concealed until ready to lay down — but I feel in the dark.

  13. They are *really* going to be mad when Trump wins the Electoral College.

Cornhead: What makes you think so? I’m not challenging. Like I say, I’m lost now.

  14. Cornhead: I grew up in a family of educators and always valued higher learning, but I’ve reached the point in my life where I would much rather hang out with a well-rounded plumber than some of these elitist eggheads. In fact I do hang out with a well-rounded plumber who studies philosophy, performs with German folk dancing groups, and owns a sailboat. Guess which candidate he voted for!

  15. Huxley:

Lots of evidence of voter fraud in the key swing states. Legislative hearings set in some of them. Also lawsuits pending. All of this evidence will make it clear that the tally is unreliable and doesn’t reflect the true will of the people. The GOP controls the legislatures in MI, WI and PA and, I think, AZ. The legislatures will select Trump electors to the Electoral College. They have this plenary power. No one can stop them. It’s in the Constitution.

Alternatively, the PA case can get back to SCOTUS and Trump can win it there.

We can’t have crooks in Atlanta, Philly, Milwaukee and Detroit steal this election.

The GOP legislatures have to have some spine, but I think they will do it.

  16. Cornhead: Thanks! I’ll think that over.

I’m so used to my side getting boned anytime an issue goes to court or doesn’t even make it there, that I reflexively expect to lose.

  17. @physicsguy: Apparently there was a bit of fake news yesterday. It turns out that RCP never had Pennsylvania in Biden’s column. On the RCP map, both PA and NC remain undecided.

@neo: Thanks for reading and reacting. I feel less alone. Your blog is a treasure that I read every day.

  18. Molly you’re right, absolutely.

Without Neo (and crew, I should add), I’d be pulling my hair out. (Well, whatever’s left…)

  19. Thanks Molly, I didn’t see anything else on that so figured it may have been click bait

  20. I, too, am out of sorts and feeling unsettled by this whole turn of events. I am refusing to discuss politics or policies with any of my family or friends.

For now I can, unfortunately legitimately, claim worries about my medical condition to only want to chat about trivial issues.

2020 has literally been ‘annus horribilis’ for me.

  21. Newsmax called NC for Trump. My wife and I were watching when they did. My wife used to have Fox on all day. She hasn’t watched fox since election night. Unfortunately, she was yelling at the TV in disgust over the Newsmax guy’s treatment of Giuliani and the next guest after (and it was shabby) so I had to change the channel to an old western. I haven’t been back.

  22. Huxley, go to:
    everylegalvote.com

There’s supposed to be info about the fraud there. Have not ha time to check it out myself, but it was recommended by Lou Dobbs – should be worthwhile.

  23. I am seeing the same phenomena from Biden supporters in my orbit:
    1. Willful ignorance of facts about Biden/Harris as well as Trump (whatever supports the narrative they are spoon-fed by the teevee)
    2. Vague feeling of dread (like, what exactly have we done? Are we the baddies?)

At first I thought this was just sadness because they didn’t get the blue wave and glorious landslide they were promised but that’s not it. There’s no mention of that.

  24. BTW, the Newsmax guy got really huffy when the foreign guest on after Giuliani was saying this election damaged America’s reputation in the world particularly when he said we looked like a banana republic.

  25. I’ve been remembering something written by the British general Edward Spears, describing his feelings in the aftermath of Munich:

“Like most people, I have had my private sorrows, but there is no loss that can compare with the agony of losing one’s country, and that is what some of us felt when England accepted Munich. All we believed in seemed to have lost substance.

The life of each of us has roots without which it must wither; these derive sustenance from the soil of our native land, its thoughts, its way of life, its magnificent history; the lineage of the British race is our inspiration. The past tells us what the future should be. When we threw the Czechs to the Nazi wolves, it seemed to me as if the beacon lit centuries ago, and ever since lighting our way, had suddenly gone out, and I could not see ahead.”

Yet it was only two years after Munich that Britain demonstrated its magnificent resistance to Nazi conquest. Maybe there is hope for a similar turnaround in the USA?

  26. It won’t cure vote fraud, but the States could allocate electors by Congressional district. Instead of all the electoral votes going to the statewide victor, the fraud would be contained in the Democrat slums. They could run up their vote as much as they want, but their total electoral count would be limited and they couldn’t overwhelm the other districts that vote Republican. Maine and Nebraska already do this.

  27. Regarding the Dems who won’t look at the facts, their correct description is mushroom. The MSM helps them along.

  28. Molly, glad to read that anything (e.g. this blog) can be a treasure under these circumstances.
Cornhead, indeed, GOP has both AZ houses.

  29. Huxley, go to:
    everylegalvote.com

J.J.: That’s a useful site! It gives me a better idea of what’s in play plus some links (mostly tweets unfortunately) to the controversies.

So far as I can tell, this stuff isn’t making it in coherent form to the mainstream, so I doubt many Democrats are feeling uneasy yet. If they are aware, I imagine they figure, as I did, that the courts would strike such suits down.

  30. I can’t think of any previous cases against national vote fraud that were successful. Not that we haven’t heard such rumblings before, but they didn’t make a difference.

If the Trump forces can overturn even one state on this basis, it would be historic.

  31. “…historic…”

Actually, what is historic is the unprecedented, brazen attempt to massively, systematically subvert voting in over half a dozen states.

Not quite “The Audacity of Hope” but hey, they’ll take it.

(Hold on, not quite unprecedented: This election theft was, after all, preceded (and more than hinted at) by the Russia Hoax, by Obamagate, by Let’s-FLIP-American-Support-Towards-Iran (didn’t Sweet Loretta take the Fifth as part of that elaborate masterpiece? and we really treasure our AGs doing that sort of thing and showing what America really stands for), by Obamacare, by all that IRS hanky-panky (naughty naughty!), by Fast and Furious (didn’t Obama’s “wingman”(TM) have to eventually quit over that one because otherwise he’d be impeached?), by trampling over certain too-inquisitive and “disrespectful” reporters while dissing Fox News (at the time) for not waxing sufficiently euphoric (well, Obama was always a perfectionist)…and the granddaddy of them all: I never knew my pastor of—what was it? 20 years—hated the USA. (Guess he didn’t know that his wife wasn’t overly fond of it either…)

But as Joe Biden—sorry, Decent Joe Biden—said on several occasions (with that sparkling smile of his), “Eight years WITHOUT ANY scandals” (or was it “ANY MAJOR scandals”?). Get a load of that; EIGHT (count ’em) years. (I’d say, “Eight years without getting caught at all those many scandals” but OMMV….)

(Well, the man certainly has style. And no doubt, for some—for many, even—policies that are far more agreeable than Trump’s.) Here’s one (of many no doubt):
    https://www.city-journal.org/biden-threat-to-law-enforcement

  32. I’ve tried not to dwell on the election results too much and look at the bright side that Republicans will probably hold the Senate and gained ground in the House and state legislatures. I know there was fraud but I don’t have much faith that anything will be done so I’ve tried to let it go and direct my energies elsewhere. But of course because I can’t help myself I started looking more closely at the numbers. I’ve been watching Rich Baris of the People’s Pundit and I think he does a very good job at showing exactly how statistically improbable the Biden vote is. Since I used to work as a statistician for the Census Bureau (I made up the populations for cities between censuses) I find the statistical evidence overwhelming. Unfortunately this has the effect of making me more depressed because the evidence is so clear and I find the gaslighting and censorship very hard to take.

  33. They should Forensically examine if all the joe biden ballots that came at 3am were filled in by the same brand and model of ball pen

  34. “Actually, what is historic is the unprecedented, brazen attempt to massively, systematically subvert voting in over half a dozen states.” Barry Meislin

Imagine being early to mid-thirties with toddlers and this being the case. I’m watching my adult children and their spouses process through this excrable theft of this election. They all hold our values, political positions and are hard-working law-abiding people. Some are struggling more than others. The ones that are struggling less keep very occupied with their immediate home concerns, not spending too much time delving into the ugly details.

  35. Biden a threat to law enforcement.

Obama’s DOJ punished several police Departments in Dem controlled cites. One was Seattle:
“In July of 2012 a Settlement Agreement between the City of Seattle and the U.S. Department of Justice was signed. The agreement outlined very specific requirements that the Seattle Police Department agreed to implement and institutionalize. Since then Seattle has made great progress and has become a national model for other Police Departments across the country. The key components of the Settlement Agreement have become the foundation of best practices for the Seattle Police Department. The changes that have been made under the Settlement Agreement have been integrated and normalized in the culture and are now part of the Department’s Standard Operating Procedures.

A major milestone was reached on January 10, 2018 when Federal Court Judge Robart found that the department was in “full and effective” compliance with the terms of the Consent Decree. To demonstrate that the changes that were made are rooted in the fabric of the Department, a 2-year “Sustainment” period is currently underway.”

In spite of the Seattle police being a “reformed” department, by 2020 the city council and BLM had decided they were too “forceful” and needed to be defunded.”

    See this: http://www.seattle.gov/police/about-us/professional-standards-bureau/settlement-agreement-history

Gun and ammo sales are going to increase, and the market for private security is going to grow. Law and order? Sorry that’s so old fashioned.

  36. “…private security is going to grow.” J.J.

The Leftists, the wealthy ones won’t have to worry about the fall-out of their policies.

  37. @Dave: “They should Forensically examine if all the joe biden ballots that came at 3am were filled in by the same brand and model of ball pen.”

I doubt that any amount of crystal-clear, hard evidence would make any difference at all. The theft of this election would be allowed to stand, lest the children riot.

Speaking of children, I am beginning to have the tiniest bit of hope for younger members of Generation Z. Some of the very youngest will have been taken out of the indoctrination programs in the public schools, never to return, thanks to the disruptions of the pandemic. And it will be interesting (if it happens) to watch as the Little Red Guards of the Snowflake Generation are put under pressure from beneath by the rising Gen Z kids, who may have saner values as well as actual skills to contribute to the common good. I hope to see the day when the marginalization of the Snowflake Jugend exposes them for the illiberal, dysfunctional basket cases they are, much as the mere passage of time revealed so many “revolutionary” hippies, by the late 1980s if not before, to be the sanctimonious cultural reactionaries they always were.

  38. I played clarinet in a Disney employee (cast member) production of “Cabaret” earlier this year, and I remember falling in love with the melody of “Tomorrow Belongs to Me,” yet feeling equally unnerved by the meaning the lyrics. Didn’t think much of it then, of course.

But then the riots started after George Floyd. And the BLM crowd was intimidating and nearly assaulting anyone who didn’t raise a fist in the air in solidarity with them. And that’s when I remembered the song and understood how so many otherwise normal, law abiding (most, anyway) citizens could suddenly turn on their fellow man.
And after seeing the unbridled joy of the left over the way the election currently stands, and after hearing about the Trump Accountability organization, I think history is doomed to repeat itself after all.

    It’s not looking pretty.

  39. Molly, on “The theft of this election would be allowed to stand, lest the children riot.”
Take heart, the next few days may hugely change the picture, see
    https://libertyunyielding.com/2020/11/10/election-aftermath-major-shift-of-forces-started-on-monday-pennsylvania-back-to-too-close-to-call-status-at-rcp/ :

“we’re in for something much bigger in the *coming days* than some reports on election irregularities in a few states in 2020….
it occurs to me that China has been awfully quiet in the last week….
Durham did do something with it (Hunter’s laptop). Everything in it about Ukraine and China was germane….”

Wouldn’t it be cool, if Hen. D.’s outbust on CNN related to, say, Hunter having stuff on the laptop, about Chinese plans to use/ penetrate CIA vote-hijacking software?

  40. @Sharon W:

I am exactly in that category, and I’m terrified. If I had control over every variable of my life, i wouldn’t be so worried – my husband and I would go off-grid in the mountains with our children, live as self-sustainably as we could, and ignore the world burning around us. We can’t change the world after all, but we can at least protect the little world if our own family as best we can.
The problem is that I have an ex-husband and we share custody of our nearly 7 year old. Complicating things further, my ex’s wife has converted him to an all-out liberal (he was moderate before, and our politics rarely clashed in our marriage), and our “relationship” is such that he’ll choose any action or belief he knows would upset me or make my life more difficult. So now we can’t escape into the mountains – we can’t even move out of state without giving up custody of my son (even though my ex lost his job and all his family as moved out of state in the last year, he won’t move because his wife won’t leave her family). We can’t homeschool my son, because we have to agree on schooling and my ex’s wife is a public school teacher who is adamantly against anything NOT public school. (Though we are thankfully homeschooling him this one year thanks to the virus, but only because I agreed to give up child support permanently – yes, you read that correctly – in exchange for homeschooling for this ONE YEAR.)
But in a Biden presidency, it makes me wonder what else I’ll have to go along with. Mandatory covid vaccines, brand new and hardly tested? Mandatory Critical Race Theory classes in my son’s school? My husband and I know how to resist and just say “sorry, eff that.” But with my son, my ex wouldn’t allow that, and no judge would side with the parent who wants to go AGAINST the government.
So yeah, I feel very defeated, afraid, and without control over my own son already, and Biden hasn’t even taken office yet.

  41. Saw a story today about some woman who apparently moved from orange county to TX and voted for trump in TX. Trouble is, she found out she also apparently voted by mail as a registered Democrat back in California. It says she reached out to trumps legal team. I’ll try to find the link.
Anyway, anyone who has lived there should probably double check that the same didn’t happen to them.

  43. People cannot be saved from themselves.

As rejection of reality is unsustainable. Rejection of reality invariably brings fatal consequence. Its arrival may be slow or even delayed but reality always has the final word.

That is not to claim that right always prevails, as history repeatedly demonstrates otherwise. But to the degree that a people reject reality, so too is their fate determined.

  44. There are reasons for concern but it’s not a time to lose one’s nerve.

There is a difference between being hopeful, even confident; and being delusional.
Remember: the Mainstream Corrupt Media is extremely powerful and they’re throwing all kinds of ordinance all over the place IN ORDER TO ENSURE THAT THEIR MAN WINS. Their goal: to FLATTEN ALL OPPOSITION, totally discourage that opposition, confuse them and wear down their resolve and their hope.

It’s easy to be swayed by these nakedly propagandistic—Stalinist (but also National Socialist)—tactics. To be discouraged by them. To be dismayed and anxious because of them.

But it’s important to note what they’re trying to do and—MOST IMPORTANTLY—to keep in mind that they are the most aggressive when they are the most afraid, the most rattled, the most worried. The most fearful. LIKE BULLIES EVERYWHERE,

Lee Smith has some encouraging tweets of late (in these times, when one needs all the encouragement one can get):
    One of them is this:
    https://twitter.com/RonColeman/status/1326229143697158145
I don’t really know who Ron Coleman is—apparenty he’s a high-powered lawyer working for Trump—but his twitter site is very much worth a read (and his bio’s at the head of it).
There are some shake-ups in Trump’s inner circle:
    https://twitter.com/EmeraldRobinson/status/1326287803706187777

    and
    https://twitter.com/JosephDugal/status/1326331939192778752

Once again: The Democratic Party and its sordid accomplices in the media, having embraced bullying tactics during the Obama years (behind the suave smile and honeyed words), which they fine tuned, chiseled and sharpened during the last four, are now in FULL Soviet mode. They are trying to be as fearsome and threatening as possible, but none of their claims can be believed. They have—simply—jettisoned ALL credibility.

It’s a war, unfortunately. Not a metaphoric war either.
    Trump knows this.
Others on this site have been warning about it for some time, but it strains the credibility of a free people that it’s come to this level of seriousness. This level of deviousness. (To be sure, the events of the past four years—and the eight years before that—should have provided ample warning.)

I, for example, told myself that the Democrats would stop at nothing; but I never envisioned this level of perfidy. A failure of the imagination. A failure to understand.

Others have been far more prescient.

The important thing (there are many, though) is not to lose hope in spite of the Democratic Party’s (and its operatives’) perfidious efforts that we do.

  45. Great link to Eddie Zipperer!
It’ got to be one of the all-time highlights of American broadcasting!
    Thanks…

  46. I’m not going to feel negative, the past is dead and gone, though it may follow us like a specter, we’re still living. I have to live and look forward for my two young boys, what kind of a future will they have? I have to raise them to become men, not soft and wilting. The world is hard. When I pass on, I believe there are better things to come not found on this earth.

  47. MollyG, Natalie Szolomayer: A little levity — parody based on “Tomorrow Belongs to Me” from the days when I sang in a church choir. It concerns a nefarious plot of the altos to take over!
    _______________________________________

    THE CHOIR BELONGS TO US
    Lyrics – Alina Trowbridge

    1. Sopranos are scarcer than snowflakes in June.
There’s only one bass at each mass.
The tenors must dance to the altos’ tune.
    THE CHOIR BELONGS TO US.

    (Refrain)
    Oh, sing alto nation,
    Sing low and sing proud.
We’re leaving the score in the dust.
It may be all D’s but at least it’s loud.
    THE CHOIR BELONGS TO US.
    THE CHOIR BELONGS TO US

    2. Oh, don’t be distracted whatever you do.
It may take a while to adjust.
We’ll sing through our parts, then sing your parts too.
    THE CHOIR BELONGS TO US.

  48. @huxley: Ha ha! Thank you. Proud alto here, and veteran of many choirs. Looking forward to the day when singing with others is legal again. Maybe soon, thanks to the JoeJab (TM), that is, the Biden vaccine, ready before the end of the year but not available as long as President Trump remains in office. If that should turn out to be four more years, well, too bad.

  49. MollyG: You’re welcome! As an ex-viola player I can identify.

I just watched a YouTube of that scene from Cabaret. I had forgotten the quick cut at the end to Joel Grey, at his most satanic, slowly looking up, nodding his head and smiling to you, the viewer. He knows what comes next…

“Tomorrow belongs to me – Cabaret”
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDuHXTG3uyY

Wow. That film won eight Academy Awards, including one for Mr. Grey.

Also that great line at the end, when Michael York asks the German aristocrat, “Still think you can control them?”

I’m not sure the Joe Bidens of the Party know they are riding a tiger.

  50. Looking forward to the day when singing with others is legal again.

MollyG: Indeed. May you and your friends sing again.

  51. @Paul In Boston at 6:33 — that’s exactly what I’ve been telling everyone, too. Allocate votes by congressional district, with the 2 “senatorial” votes going to the statewide winner. It would force candidates to campaign everywhere, too.

  52. You mean even Trump-haters are not happy and excited about the (allegedly) forthcoming Biden/Harris administration? I’m shocked, shocked.

  53. It’s called PTSD. Post Traumatic Shock. Beaten wife syndrome.

but it strains the credibility of a free people that it’s come to this level of seriousness. This level of deviousness. (To be sure, the events of the past four years—and the eight years before that—should have provided ample warning.)

I, for example, told myself that the Democrats would stop at nothing; but I never envisioned this level of perfidy. A failure of the imagination. A failure to understand.

It’s not your fault you are not Ymar, Barry. After all, even Ymar is surprised at the power of Ymar.

I talked about 70 mil fake votes, days before Nov 3 and also after.

    https://www.bookwormroom.com/2020/11/10/if-democrats-didnt-have-double-standards-theyd-have-no-standards/#comment-5146932588

Nov 5, when many conservatives went awol due to waking up from PTSD in the middle of the night, I already had a good accurate figure. 70 million fake votes.

GB and others would try to use logic to contest it, but logic does not work if your data is flawed.

  54. The liberals with whom I have spoken are delirious with the “win” and out for blood.

My sister proclaimed that she wants to get rid of white men.

Neighbor whipped up in a froth about how the world viewed Trump.
This in a neighborhood where we are stuck with unsaleable homes due to years of Democrat misrule.

  55. Since I used to work as a statistician for the Census Bureau (I made up the populations for cities between censuses) I find the statistical evidence overwhelming. Unfortunately this has the effect of making me more depressed because the evidence is so clear and I find the gaslighting and censorship very hard to take.

Take heart Gregory harper. This time there is a Son of God that will out power the evil. And more will come online soon enough.

And after seeing the unbridled joy of the left over the way the election currently stands, and after hearing about the Trump Accountability organization, I think history is doomed to repeat itself after all.

    It’s not looking pretty.

Everything is proceeding according to Divine plan, Natalie. As a Son of God, I guarantee that.

Josh, there will be better things to come. The best is yet to come, in truth, I can guarantee that. It won’t be as far away as people imagine either. The time of evil is up. Demoncrats are merely one of the last bitter clingers. The Divine Will decrees, and mankind abides. Weaklings have no choice in this matter.

Your son has to choose which world he wants to go into. It’s a choice between Service to Self or Service to Other.

I detect that that 1 year of homeschooling will make the difference, one way or another.

You cannot control a Divine soul or child. You can only control property. This may be part of your life lesson and theirs as well.

  57. Neo, I too am estranged from friends and co-workers, especially when they accuse Republicans of things that they themselves were egregiously guilty of such as refusal to accept the outcome of the election, planning a coup, disloyalty, etc.

  58. I am unbelievably sad and depressed to think that our wonderful country has been stolen. It is MUCH more than an election. It is our freedom. Socialism is merely the step on the way to communism. People have lost their fear of communism, but we older people remember.

  59. I am married to a yellow dog dem and often have to refer to my days I spent in AA …

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”

  60. I am angry rather than sad. The court will have to decide if they want to be on the side of the criminals or the victims. We already know that a Federal Judge can pretty much rule any way he or she wants using pretzel logic masked with 50 pages of BS.

Now that we know how the actual vote stealing works and what to look for and have found similar profiles in Virginia, we can see the scope and vast nature of the crime. We appear to be looking at countless acts of election fraud, mail fraud, mail tampering, etc. etc. Giuliani pointed out yesterday that if the fake votes in Georgia are tossed, there will be no run-off for Senate. So, 71+ million votes on top of who knows how many were stolen. Who knows how many primary races had this vote stealing used against them.

I know if I as POTUS was subjected to what this POTUS has been subjected to, particularly Shampeachmint, I would have set up a Monkey Trap for this election with the intention of sending people like Pelosi to jail for racketeering and conspiracy. The filthy swine.

  61. I am angry rather than sad. The court will have to decide if they want to be on the side of the criminals or the victims. We already know that a Federal Judge can pretty much rule any way he or she wants using pretzel logic masked with 50 pages of BS.

Chases Eagles: I remain cynical about the courts these days. However, if I understood Cornhead properly in a recent exchange, vote fraud also goes to the state legislatures for decision, and the legislatures in the contested states are Republican.

If that’s true, these vote fraud issues won’t disappear in the courts.

  62. NYT ran story that they called ALL 50 states and found No voter fraud.

“The Times Called Officials in Every State: No Evidence of Voter Fraud”

HMMMM … When they called Texas maybe they got a wrong number or busy signal or skipped over Texas by mistake or maybe they are lying their ass off!

In Texas, we will prosecute voter fraud to the fullest extent of the law. #electionfraud pic.twitter.com/SKH42ZeFRI— Attorney General Ken Paxton (@KenPaxtonTX) November 7, 2020

  63. Cappy:

Sounds like the “liberals” you know are actually leftists.

I still make the distinction. Most of the liberals I know are LIVs and not leftists. I do know some leftists though. They tend to be a lot more involved in politics and a lot nastier when challenged.

The two groups vote exactly the same, though.

  64. So make a list:
Gas pump prices hovering around $2.00
    China kept at bay.
Some manufacturing returned to the US
Prior to Covid, unemployment at an all time low for minority Americans.
The embassy moved to Jerusalem and the Abraham Accords.

These things, (and placing aside the court picks) one would imagine would please all but those who actually wished to see the West and the US in ruins.

You have to wonder then, those of you who have such vehement females in your lives, if this is not really what they, in their heart of hearts do in fact want. You have to wonder if they do not in the final analysis want a radical restructuring of society and maybe, of humanity itself. There are of course many fringe types who are not shy of saying just that, and expressing it in homicidal tones.

Given the objective conditions in the country in March, what could their real grievances be? It looks as though they had to fabricate a racial animus cause in order to give it some ostensible focus.

How people could fail to notice gasoline prices, peace in the Middle East, and the growth in American strength that which exists right in front of their faces, and instead obsess about mean tweets, tells us something quote frightening about the generally hidden mentalities of some of those closest to us.

I assume you are Black. Did she sound as though she had given any real thought whatsoever to what she was saying? Any reasons stated?

  66. huxley,
Except Trump should have won that night. Now he has multiple extra hurdles where the GOP can still stab him in the back and even then he will be forever “selected not elected”.

  67. They seem relieved that Trump wasn’t re-elected, but very worried about where the country is headed.

I guess they are going to get ‘democracy good and hard’, If they feel this election wasn’t based on shenanigans.

I have to forgive my friends and family for being so stupid to vote for Biden/Harris. Did they not see the factual evidence during the Democratic primaries how leaders had already chosen the ticket? They may hate Trump, but did they not see the treatment of the their own party’s candidates and the blatant fraudulent action that took place to assure a Biden/Harris ticket?

It reminds me of my pro Obama 2008 days and a very old man from Eastern Europe passed our group with Obama signs and muttered; ‘Win, win, win. I am so sick of it!’ So true a statement.

  68. I was sad a few days ago.
Now there’s Hope! (for a change???) that Barr is serious about presenting fraud.
    (prior thread:)
I’m 100% sure the Dems cheated – they are stealing the election.
Only 20% chance that Barr works effectively enough to stop the stealing –
thus 80% Biden wins / successfully steals.

“denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance.”
5 stages of grief. For the death of a loved one.
Trump’s not dead yet (“I don’t want to go on the cart”)

Let’s skip too much denial, and too soon for depression, and get to anger – and action. No action available for the dead, but Freedom lovers need to be protesting.

There’s already probably more blogging depression than optimal, sort of part of denial, but it’s time to get Angry.
    ANGRY.
    ANGRY

I’m mad as Hell and I’m not going to take Election Fraud anymore!

Are you angry enough to go out and protest?
Iranians have done it against the mullahs.
Ukrainians have done it against the corrupt leaders who are Russian allies, and against corrupt leaders who are EU&America allies (all their choices are corrupt).
Belarussians have done it against their dictator.
Tiananmen Square Chinese protesters against commie Chinese dictators.
Central Euro nations against commie Soviet puppets.
For over a year there were Slovak protests against the murder of a young journalist (& his fiancé) for investigating corruption by the (now prior) corrupt Fico gov’t plus some oligarchs. My wife & I and kids went to a few.

It’s easy to sit and type about being sad about the corruptions of the Dictatorship of the Deep State .
But it’s also not so hard to make hand made signs:
    Stop the Steal
    Honest Elections
    Redo Elections in Fraud Cities
One Person – One Vote – In Person
All Legal Votes – but Only Legal

If these elections are stolen, America has descended into becoming a Banana Republic. Like Venezuela? Where massive protests are NOT enough to change the gov’t, nor give free and fair elections.

Our election was “free” but far from fair – it was hugely dishonest.

The mail-in rules were fraud friendly, but even so, the rules were not always followed. When election rules are not followed, it’s not fair.

Maybe there will be some MAGA protests on Nov 14, a Saturday. That’s a start. But probably not good enough. The USA needs thousands, maybe millions, protesting on a workday.

FB & Twitter (& google) can’t be trusted to use in organizing Stop The Steal protests. [Pause … go open a new MeWe alt FB page ]
    https://mewe.com/myworld

Parler & Gab are Twitter substitutes, (have accounts I don’t use), and just look at Trump’s Twitter feed.

Organizing protests need some method. Maybe FB to start, get a new group on MeWe (for politics). I’ve reduced my FB use a lot…
Saving Freedom in America now needs protests.
    [more than blogging …
but I like blogging much more …
    protesting is so inconvenient …
it’s almost as tough as voting but takes longer and is more frequent]

  69. ‘Their team won and they are a simple folk, content to middle-finger their opponents and shout huzzahs for the home team.‘ Well said!

    I keep thinking about what America will loss without a Trump Administration and what the Country will get;

    1) More wars that cost lives and trillions of dollars on the backs of American taxpayers.
    2) Lobbyists writing our laws.
    3) Foreign powers welding control of various necessary industries, and the continuing of shipping our ‘slaves’ over seas.
    4) Silencing and censorship of citizens.
    5) Further destruction of people based on their skin colour and religion.
    6) School choice and the continuation of failing schools.
    7) Opportunity Zones in the inner cities.
    8) The breakdown of the judicial system.
    9) Fair elections.

    I could go on….

So yes, if you voted for Biden you will get an authoritarian government and loss a lot of your rights. I wonder how they will like that.

  70. Hey JH, #6 – “NO” school choice … failing
    #7 – “NO” Opp Zones
    #9 – “NO” Fair elections.

Please, take it from someone who “NO”s.

  71. JH, you should add a #10:
the systematic deployment of the Deep State agencies, to smash *all* effective opposition to the erection to a Maoist tyranny.

  72. And, #11 can be an (exponential?) boost of Social Justice Warfare by SJWs, vs. all non-SJWs, via e.g. the sort of setups hurled at Gen. Flynn and N. Sandmann, and all variations of Cancel Culture.

  73. Tom Grey;

Yes it is NO. It so sad that when you realize your president is making good choices and we may end up with someone who is on that take and that includes kamala.

    NannyMouse;

Good points for the ever growing list.
