The women of The View sense something is missing in Joe’s response to the current revelations — 32 Comments

1. It won’t change their politics. What will they think of those whose politics are changed, or those whose politics–anti-Biden–are legitimately reinforced?

2. Probably need—desperately—to frame their intellectual acuity, analytical prowess and perfervid devotion as something along the lines of, “My psychopath, right or wrong…”

3. It is hardly an easy matter to determine who is more repulsive, the joyless Behar of the worthless View or the joyless Reid of the worthless MSNBC.

4. In a nearby post, you talk about the emotions raised by reading old letters.

What emotions will raised by watching THE VIEW vid clips twenty years form now? Quick turnaway by those old battleaxes who are still alive. For the rest of us:

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!

5. Professor Plum in the library with the candlestick.

President Biden in the garage with the Corvette.

6. The sheep are looking up uneasily. They sense a rustling in the grass.

Is it a wolf? Oh certainly not! That big gray sheep over there with the funny ears and the pointy teeth who always has such sensible things to say would surely tell us if we were in danger.

7. As dim as poor old Joe is these days, he still has a bit more on the ball than the women of the View. The smirk on Biden’s face when reporters were shouting questions at him yesterday says it all, “Yeah, I took some classified documents, what are you going to do about it? Nothing. Because you were dumb enough to support a crook like me and now you’re stuck.”

8. The spew causes brain cell loss like that cloud in classic star trek also spocks brain

9. Reading about the women of The View trying to work through all these cognitive dissonances is like watching a labrador trying to get a big stick through a path with narrow railings.

10. Cognitive dissonance. It’s the weakness in any totalitarian (and let’s be frank, that’s what this is now) movement. Even most people who are perfectly happy to lie to others don’t want to be lied to themselves. When people have to go from believing X to believing Not X with no real justification, they either snap out of it or have to so neuter themselves intellectually and emotionally that their usefulness is hugely diminished.

11. Neo must take a strong anti-emetic in order to watch the pinheads on The View, which I have seen only accidentally and briefly.

12. Mirengoff’s observation is a critical piece not previously highlighted.
This goes to “intent.”

13. I dropped a gym membership some years ago because there was a big screen TV in the women’s locker room, always tuned to The View when I was there.

14. The following just popped up on my Internet feed:

“The View derailed by audience member calling Whoopi Goldberg an ‘Old Broad'”

Why is this in the news? Isn’t she?

15. JH, yes I just read that too. Just hope of NZ’s sake the new on is better than the old one. She was truly evil.

16. JHC & Shirehome…forget it boys, it’s Kiwi-town.
They’ll vote for someone just like her.

17. Hmm, Paul Mirengoff has an interesting point there.

But, I also wonder what was Biden thinking? Why isn’t someone going through these “brought home from work” documents and archiving them properly instead of having them sit in a box in his garage?

18. “…what was Biden thinking?…”
Insofar as Biden CAN think, something along the lines of “I’m UNTOUCHABLE”….

Which, come to think of it makes the whole concept of “Biden Think Tank” rather hilarious (that is, once one gets around the stink of it all…).
The Chinese, of course, never quite got that special je ne sais quoi aspect of Biden family humor—call it a “cultural gap”?—and so were ready to sink millions upon millions into the—trying to maintain a straight face here—“Biden Think Tank” (to extend knowledge and improve the world, no doubt, OTOH, the Chinese never pass up an influence-raking gig if they can help it…so shall we embrace the “power of AND” on this one? Hmmm)…

Speaking of stink (or should that be, hilarity), it looks like there’s more than meets the eye WRT Hunter’s bargain-basement deal with Dear Old Dad—as has always been suspected….
“Hunter Biden Lived In Classified Doc House While Raking In Millions Through Chinese Intelligence Ties”—

Looks like Joy nailed it—such an intuitive sort…
Also looks like Merrick Garland and his merrye trolls might have to do a bit more scrambling to firm up the “Nothing-to-see-here-move-along” Garage-In-Garage-Out Narrative that he’s oh-so-artistically been crafting…

There are a lot of unhappy Kiwis in Kiwi town. National has raised more money than previous elections and ACT is gaining ground.

Interesting days ahead. Maybe the the dominos are falling for the leaders of Countries who have behaved in an authoritative manner. Biden next?

20. “…well, he should have said, ‘Look, I know I look hypocritical in that tape, I’m sorry about that, I didn’t know about this….”

“…I think it would go a long way for [Biden] to also say ‘and I was careless,’ …”

Short version:
Lie for us, Joe, you can do it. For us, do it for us.
Say it ain’t so… We’ve had your back all this time.
Lie for us, Joe.
And FOR THE COUNTRY.
Just do it…

File under: The mask is off (actually, the mask was always off…)

21. I’d like to say it would be fun to see the view women realize they helped to elect an aging kleptocract with dementia to the highest office in America. But they’re all actors so they’d just keep on pretending that Brandon is just fine. I’d put good money down betting that those classified documents are those that could be used for leverage or monetary gain.

22. JHC…you could well be correct. Sky News late last night was running the economy and poll numbers and it may be a National swing. October is a long way from now and whoever is caretaker PM between now and then will have their work cut out for them burying the memories of a dying economy and lost freedom.

23. POTUS has absolute authority to declass documents. Because of that it can’t even be proven Trump’s documents were classified while they were at Mar a Lago.

In Biden’s case, potentially he was in illegal possession of them while a private citizen. But as POTUS, he can possess them however he wants. There isn’t a legal remedy except perhaps impeachment, although I don’t know if that would apply (his failure to enforce immigration law is a much more legit reason for impeachment IMO).

I find it odd that everyone on the left and most on the right seem to think DOJ or FBI has some means of imposing some process on POTUS, their commander.
