CBS engages in some Now It Can Be Told about Hunter Biden’s laptop — 16 Comments

1. Why has it taken two years for this story to be reported with some degree of truthfulness by the MSM, why did NBC pull what seems to have been a reasonable report (while suspending the journalist) about the “l’affaire Pelosi”, why, after half a year, has the leaker of the draft from SCOTUS not been identified, why does Zelensky’s mendacity over last week’s “missile incident” in Poland result not in universal condemnation, but in the announcement of 38 billion in additional funding, why has the NYT’s conference involving SBF, Z., Zuckerberg, and Yellen not attracted more attention, why has more outrage not been directed at FTX ‘s having been intimately involved, at all levels, with assistance from influential Democrats, and with funding of the party? Why indeed?

Now that investigations may happen, since the “news” has admitted the laptop is real, they can treat any revelations as “old news they already dealt with.” The Obamas and Clintons (especially) did this over and over. People therefore tune out the revelations as nothing new, regardless of the information found.

   (WAPO did the same thing WRT the MAL raid, claiming—if I got this right—that there was nothing incriminating about the papers Trump had taken after all… i.e., conveniently, after the election—identical in scope to the “timing” of the FTX volcano.)

   They lie about everything**; but there’s a reason for it.
   I believe that THAT reason is massive distraction to conceal their odious plans, which will touch on every aspect of life in the US—and other places around the globe, especially WRT “Allies”—as we know it.
   (Trudeau’s doing the exact same thing in Canada.)

   WRT to Ukraine (which is that other NEO post currently up) I think that “Biden” NEEDED the war in UKRAINE to start and he NEEDS it to continue—also to serve as a[nother] huge, ongoing distraction—one of many—though there’s got to be other more insidious garbage connected to the Ukraine issue, as well, e.g., WRT to the “deal” with Iran AND also WRT to Hunter’s (and Dear-Old-Dad’s) corruption.

5. I think this is a favored, deliberate tactic on the Progressive Left, when a news story of potentially damaging or toxic import arrives on the scene: Remain silent at first, make no comments. Stonewall on any questions asked. Begin a campaign of misdirection. The whole point is to delay, and let the energy spin itself out, into entropy, eventually to be replaced by a new Burning Issue. It’s the Second Law of Thermodynamics, as it applies to politics. Once a couple of years have passed, it is now time to quietly shape future history. if the issue was important enough (like the Laptop from Hell). People don’t forget about old issues, they just forget what they mean and with time, that can be easily shaped to advantage.

   Well, now we know why there was all this sudden amnesty talk going on to coddle and excuse COVID’s tyrants.

   According to the Epoch Times:

   The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) telling people to “stop” taking ivermectin for COVID-19 was informal and just a recommendation, government lawyers argued during a recent hearing.

   Obviously, they’re on the hot seat. They mocked and abused anyone trying to take ivermectin on an emergency off-label basis during a pandemic as stupid horse-paste abusers, evoking the specter of those who sniff glue or take TidePods to get high, to the extent that they put out public service announcements brimming with schoolyard-style scoldings on Twitter.
   …
   They made their page all about the dangers of taking animal medicine in animal doses from a tube as if anyone was doing that, which in the states, very few actually were.

   Context is important here. The mocking meme came in response to testimony from famous podcaster Joe Rogan who stated that his doctor-prescribed ivermectin regimen against COVID worked very well for him, killing his COVID case dead in a matter of days.

   It also came as word from less-developed African countries, along with India and Peru, were able to stop mass deaths through the use of ivermectin, sometimes actually from the horse paste, given those countries’ lack of health care on a mass basis and their agricultural orientation. It was an effective stopgap measure that even taken haphazardly managed to saved millions of lives.

   Which brings us to the lawsuit that triggered this sudden turn to weasel words from the FDA:

   Although the FDA knew that doctors could ethically prescribe it, their screamings about it pretty well prevented many from doing it. That’s what the lawsuit is about now, the prevention of doctors from being able to practice effective medicine based on the wall of hysteria from the FDA about the dangers of horse paste.

   Doctors in the field, (like the FDA), knew the stuff, taken as part of a carefully designed anti-COVID regimen, worked in killing off COVID. But the FDA hysteria prevented many from prescribing it – medical licenses were threatened in some quarters, doctors were mocked as quacks, doctors were demonized, and too bad about the patients who would have benefited from it, which includes coming out of COVID alive.

   I took this regimen myself during the height of the pandemic in late 2020, … I knew a very good doctor who was outside my UCSD medical network who prescribed it and told my regular doctors I had no time to call them since it was Christmas eve. My regular doctors nodded knowingly and had no criticism for me for it, saying they understood well. They knew it worked but probably couldn’t prescribe it themselves.

   My elderly parents, who also had COVID symptoms, opted for conventional hospital treatment, and my mother was spirited off to a hospital COVID ward for three weeks, bound to a hospital bed without exercise, served cold eggs, and watching as all the patients in her unit literally died. She was the sole survivor. Her hospital bill was in the six figures but apparently the state paid it.

   That’s the impact of doctors and hospitals being unable to prescribe ivermectin, a cheap generic drug that costs very little, but provides little in the way of megaprofits to Big Pharma: Millions of people died. The ones who got the stopgap ivermectin cure did fine. The FDA did all in its power to stop it,

   If this is not a case that screams for investigation into the tentacles of Big Pharma and the corruption of the FDA, what is? In the meantime, let’s hope this lawsuit wins and the sudden singing soprano of the FDA gets word out that some big reforms are necessary on that monster corruption front.

   No amnesty. Ever.

8. In Greece, Ivermectin is sold as Scaball, widely used for many years to effectively treat scabies and other skin diseases in animals and humans. When it became known that Ivermectin might be effective in treating Covid, Scaboll was pulled from all the pharmacies. The drug was not allowed to be imported into the country and impossible to purchase. The FDA has a long reach. The Greek authorities would not have done this on their own without a push from the FDA.

9. …and Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) also. HCQ was always sold in Greece as an over the counter drug for the prevention/treatment of Malaria. After it became known that HCQ might be effective against Covid, the government cracked down, requiring a prescription for its use. My doctor (and many others) refused to issue a prescription, fearing the loss of his / their medical license. When I told him I was travelling to India and needed it as an anti Malarial he reluctantly issued the prescription. Yes, the FDA has a lot to answer for, not only in the USA but globally.

    Nor should one forget, when asked about the proven efficacy of HCQ, Fauci muttering (and I paraphrase here) “well…there is anecdotal evidence”…

    The treatment was/is GROSSLY RIDICULED. Doctors were threatened with losing their licenses (AND STILL ARE)…

Maybe it’s the same agency—as demonstrated by using an Israeli CIA agent (in Israel) to “befriend” and then attempt to dupe George Papadopoulos in 2016 (IIRC) by giving the latter 10,000 bucks, which the FBI searched for as soon as Papadopoulos landed in the US. (He left the money with a friend in Greece.)

12. And in the “Now it can be told” vein, we have that rancid, if fascinating, “quasi-mea culpa” posing as “aren’t we amazing!” article in TIME Magazine following those “FORTIFIED” 2020 elections.
    (How they ever decided to publish THAT I’ll never know…except maybe because they were certain the STEAL would be exposed by something that Trump was expected to reveal and wanted to head THAT off at the pass. Whatever. They ended up exposing themselves…. since “the king” has an exquisite—and extensive—wardrobe of elegant, see-through fabric…that is, if anyone bothers to look.)

    Alas, the recent 2022 mid-terms demonstrate that it’s the same old, same old…

13. The whole problem is multi-layered. Mostly, “Leader” Putin is in the deep stuff.

    The war in the Ukraine might have been overted by a President Trump, but it was useful forbthe Democrats to provide a distraction.

    As I read the reports, both the Ukraine and PolNd reported the impact of Russian (made) missiles. The press (intentionally?) garbled the report into Russian (launched);missiles to gain time. The S-300 are trash that missed their target, didn’t self destruct, and didn’t detonate on impact. They did deliver distraction for Biden’s diaper brigade.

    The Ukraine/Zelenski sent cash to the Crypto currency Ponzi scheme since he/they had no choice. I’d guess that he/they were told to “play along” or get nothing. He had no choice. He needed cash for his people and weapons for his army. The corruption was an American problem.

    Don’t be distracted by rhe lovely stripper stage Front. Back stage, the Democrats (and the Uniparty) are stealing every thing and/or grubbing for all the power they can grab. It ain’t that hard.

15. Now that the DOJ / FBI has prevented the Biden family’s worldwide corruption from becoming an issue in the last two elections, the Dems just want to let bygones be bygones. It worked, didn’t it? I mean, it worked for the Party, didn’t it?
    There is the spirit of a tiger lurking in the heart of America, and it is hungry for justice. It knows that if it becomes too weak for lack of justice delivered, it will eventually die. Time is running out for it, for us.
