Poor poor Hunter and the invasion of his privacy by the big bad Republicans — 23 Comments

  1. It does teach the lesson that if the Bolshevists won’t touch the story, the Whites get the scoop.

  2. Yes, it’s the rehabilitation of Hunter Biden in living color, imbuing him with features that evoke passionate struggle and pathos for our delectation.

But he’s not a sympathetic character – he’s a scumbag, top-to-bottom, and every thing that his life touches seems to be as a result of corrupted, debauched, cynical impulses, a wasted life on a privileged path, leaving behind a trail of wreckage, damaged lives, and a junkie’s squalor.

  3. Neo says, “In other news, nudists protest invasive gaze of onlookers.”

There’s a former professor/administrator at Eastern Michigan University who’s been suspended for driving naked down Michigan Avenue in a Jeep Wrangler with the top down and “fondling himself,” in the words of the Dearborn police chief. The perp (aged 62, so plenty old enough to know better) was an associate provost and Associate Vice President for Academic Programs and Services, and previously served EMU as Director of Equality. He’s been charged with one misdemeanor count of aggravated indecent exposure and one felony count of indecent exposure.

I bet that if the perp had been wearing a COVID face diaper, his governor (Gretchen Whitmer) would have had the charges dismissed.

  4. Well fortunately, not many Americans read New York Magazine.

Surely some day, hopefully this November, the Democrats, and their elitist brethren and Sistren(?), will realize that they are in a tightly wound, closed loop communication effort.

Or maybe they will just continue to blame the right wing, semi-fascist, closed minds of their intended audience because their message was either ignored or rejected.

  5. Anyone deemed credible by the left, who then publicizes anything detrimental to the left’s narrative… instantly loses all credibility.

So it’s impossible for anything deterimental to even exist that a “credible” investigator might discover.

Remember. There is no such thing as objective reality. Only the subjective reality of the “greater good”, as decided from moment to moment by our ‘betters’.

  6. PA Cat:

It’s also possible that the naked guy in Michigan is having disinhibition issues due to early cognitive decline.

  7. Neo–

It’s reported that Tew did the same thing ten years ago in Livonia, when he was only 52. If he’s in early cognitive decline, he’s been doing so for a decade, and you’d think someone at the university would have noted other signs.

  8. I have this thing about bylines, olivia nucci has some serious judgement issues once upon a time, she volunteered to work for anthony weiner, after the first time he humiliated himself,

hunter’s laptop is like a boschian tableau of how the uniparty works, how it sells out the people to oligarchs all across central asia into xi’s twisted kingdom, he also stuck his appendage into a recovery deal in libya, the hillary server was a less graphic representation of this same framework, so they d noticed it,

  9. JournoList may be in the back of the author’s mind. It’s great to be a big name journalist at a big name publication — at least until your own emails get leaked. Then it all comes tumbling down.

But it certainly is strange that the “credible media” doesn’t care about people it brings down, but there’s this strange compassion for Hunter Biden, who is truly the maker of his own problems. Apparently he is part of the charmed circle who are supposed to be immune from criticism.

  10. Neo says, “These days, universities probably consider cognitive decline to be a feature, not a bug.”

A feature he was, it seems. Judging from the reviews posted by his students on Rate My Professors, he was well liked because he was an easy grader (“Easy A”); and didn’t give tests, just writing assignments (“I think I only read one chapter in the textbook and got an A in the class”). He also had that other qualification for teaching in the modern university– hating Trump. “It was super annoying that over half of the time all he did was bash Trump.” More here, for anyone who’s interested: https://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=392609

Myself, I wonder whether he might have been under the influence of alcohol or something else when he took his last ride– he looks unkempt and bleary-eyed in his mugshot.

  11. I love, love, love it when Biden proclaims he believes in the rule of law! I swear I laugh every time! I guess just not in Hunter’s case. No speculation here, Hunter lied on the Federal form you fill out to buy a gun. This is a felony. There is a laxity in the prosecution of this crime, but not when the evidence is so blatant.

  12. Reading those excerpts from New York Magazine was almost as unpleasant as viewing the contents of Hunter’s laptop.

  13. The Right is trying very hard to change the narrative on the election. Embarrassing allegations of fraud by the unwashed masses will be replaced with “that darn cover-up!” Covering up the laptop is not the reason Biden is in our White House. Last I checked, voting machines don’t know or care about laptops and sociopaths. And neither do corrupt officials while “counting” votes.

  14. How much did the traitor get paid for altering the hard drive lest his wife see it? He can’t have been dim enough to just alter the “proof” without a rea$on.

  15. That’s what you call using a spatula to smoothen a pile of fecal matter. It might please the eyes, but still terrible on the nose.

  16. JFM:

“There is a laxity in the prosecution of this crime, but not when the evidence is so blatant.”

Blah!!!! No reasonable prosecutor would take this up.

/Jimmy C, former head of the dem praetorian guard.

    Neo:

Josef Xiden’s claim his spawn is the smartest guy he knows. Smart people make sure to keep track of their criminal activity and don’t let it get out. Josef’s statement is another example of his mental decline.

  17. “But it certainly is strange that the “credible media” doesn’t care about people it brings down, but there’s this strange compassion for Hunter Biden, who is truly the maker of his own problems.”

Nothing strange about it; Hunter is firmly attached to Joe in the public mind. They can’t make him into a balloon (sow’s ear, anyone?), but they’re trying to keep him – successfully, so far – from being an anchor.

  18. }}} who has called him “the smartest guy I know.”

Well, this may well be a random bit of Truth from “Teh Number Two” (in contrast with “Teh One”, as Obama was called).

It may reflect one of two things

A — Brandon may not have a very wide array of intelligent people around him, and this could be indicative of that.

B — Hunter may actually BE smart as fuck. He is, however, a complete fool and an addict. He may be, as a result of those or even other factors, a total fuckup. None of these reject him having considerable intelligence. Many of the copious supply of obvious errors he has made could easily be tied to his being a fool, as almost all self-described “Liberals” are, or be tied to his excessive drug abuse. Or both.

I’m going to note once more, as I have commented previously, here and elsewhere. We tend to use “idiot” and “fool” interchangeably, which is correct in a sense, esp. when you are only looking at the results of said “idiot-fool”s actions. But the cause of those actions definitely ties to whether they are an idiot (low intellectual skills) or a fool (low common sense skills). I repeat also my assertion that pretty much anyone who is a self-described “liberal” these days is a PostModern Liberal (as opposed to a “Classical Liberal”) and almost certainly has a low “WQ” (Wisdom Quotient, a hypothetical test & metric for measuring Wisdom as opposed to “Intelligence”).

The main notable aspect of having a low WQ is the inability to learn from experience. Like, say, favoring Marxism, regardless of how many times and how abysmally it always fails. Experience does not apply. Also, it favors the practice of throwing money at government, and when the government solution does not work, it seeks to throw more money at it.

  19. He’s sure having trouble staying out of the news cycle.

Cruel and Unusual persecution, no doubt…

  20. Joe Biden is provably an international grafter, and is saved only from prosecution by a corrupt DOJ and media. With this protection, he not only escapes justice, but facilitates the persecution of his most dangerous rivals, up to and including their imprisonment without trial and withholding of exculpatory evidence from them.

The present government of the United States is in the hands of organized criminals, and the only alternative available to peace-loving citizens is their complete defeat at the ballot box.
