  1. Fully realizing I’m parroting myself, here’s another rather substantial morsel for the “Uncontested Election” files…(though this article also covers fraud in elections other than 2020).
    “High-profile voter fraud prosecutions pile up as election integrity debate rages on;
    “From a former Democrat congressman to mayors and city council members, evidence of ballot rigging schemes is unmasked in court filings.”—

    The goal is to tighten up election integrity as much as it can be, which for some reason the Democrats have “issues” with….)

  2. @ miguel cervantes > “Fresh absurdity”

    So the Dept of Educ is finally going to do something that MIGHT have been helpful over the last three years, only because the Democrats are taking flak for their policies and, yes, the absurdities about schools that parents have been railing against, with some effect.

    But, won’t this mean that AG Garland has to charge the DoE as an accomplice abetting domestic terrorists?

  3. @ Miguel cervantes > “Very convenient”

    We raised the AesopClan about 20 miles north of Freeport TX, and spent many days on the Quintana Beach (not the island), also have friends that work at the Dow Chemical plant in the area.

    A problem with the piping is a Big Deal.

    “This sent US NatGas prices reeling, down almost 20%…”

  4. it serves multiple purposes, including the war on fossil fuels, it may be a coincidence, but what are the odds that a major energy lifeline to europe would be cut, if the russians wanted to nudge a little, would they have done anything different,

    https://compactmag.com/article/collateral-damage-goes-global one of the many butterfly effects from this caucasus dustup,

  5. If you needed any more proof that America’s “elite” are anything but…

    https://www.theatlantic.com/newsletters/daily/

    That’s a post by noted gasbag Tom Nichols defending Joe Biden. The crux of it is Nichols’ claim that Joe Biden as President basically has no power to do anything about any of the problems currently afflicting America, while crediting Biden as a foreign policy genius for how he’s handled Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and insisting that no one should really care about inflation or crime or anything else because…LOOK OVER THERE! JANUARY 6!!!!

    It’s a short little post but it so perfectly encapsulates some of the biggest deficiencies of America’s elite: the wrongheaded belief they are economically and socially independent from the rest of the country so they don’t need to worry about anything, acting and thinking in a performative manner, and being neither as smart nor as well informed as they believe themselves to be. I mean, does even the biggest Zelenskyy-stan think Biden has been some sort of Kissingerian mastermind when it comes to Ukraine?

    Mike
