I’m sure some people are seeing something nefarious in this but I think the truth is more likely plain incompetence. This and the CDC masking debacle are what you get when the guy sitting behind the desk in the Oval Office is a candidate for a memory care facility. Nobody is actually in charge so random people at different levels of power and authority just do what they think is “right” without anybody exercising any oversight or saying “No, that’s a bad idea.”

Is it fair and just for the unaccompanied children who are used as pawns to exploit the broken system, at least some of whom are sexually abused? Is it fair and just to the communities that are forced to take in large numbers of these people, some of whom are positive for Covid? Is it fair to the tax payers who have to subsidize the healthcare and education of millions of illegals who by and large pay no income tax?
As to the illegals under Obama, the Somalis were legal according to their swearing to be refugees but the accuracy of that can be judged by the history of Omar and her warlord father. They attached themselves to another Somali family and claimed refugee status. These people have no ID and disappear. Many are child trafficking victims.

Artfldgr is correct especially about the globalist, corporatist branch of the GOP. The god they worship is corporate profits increasing every quarter, and a declining national population is a disaster for that.
While I had noted that the U.S. birth rate took a nose dive during 2020, I do think that if they let us go out and see the sights, have fun, be optimistic and most importantly, work hard to earn money; then the birth rate would go back up (some?). If, if.
But I think the Dems have moved from buying votes with other people’s money, towards buying whole voters with our money.

California style politics to the rescue. Give all illegals drivers licenses, automatically register them to vote at the DMV, send all of them mail in ballots, and then harvest large numbers of said MIBs. They spent large sums of money for those voters. Don’t leave the actual vote to chance!

There are many pro illegal immigration organizations in the U.S. Pueblas Sin Fronteras is one I know about. Some left leaning Catholic churches and organizations are in on it too. Most of the illegals will be sent where they have relatives, which is mostly in agriculture heavy areas all over the U.S. In my neck of the woods, there are a few towns that have lots of seasonal ag employment. You drive by the fields when harvest is in progress and you will see many people out there picking the crop. Drive through these towns and you will encounter houses with five or more cars parked outside. These are the “immigrant” rentals. May be as many as four families living there. Most of these people are honest and hard working because they know that the locals will sick ICE on them if they’re not. That said, it’s not legal and it’s not right. But it’s accepted in the agricultural; areas because it’s cheap labor. The goal is undoubtedly to build up many communities of such people in red states (and blue) who the Democrats believe are their natural constituents.
Of course, some of these immigrants, mostly young children and women, are being sold into sexual bondage and other human trafficking.
Then there’s the drugs that are trafficked. Many of the illegals will get involved in that trade.
There is nothing good about what’s happening at the border.
America needs border enforcement and citizenship policies more aligned with those of its Greatest Ally.
Sadly the border is not at present being swamped by Mexican Ben and Jerry’s employees.
So you’re all just going to have to hang on to those ankles for the next 3 years. Nah.. Forever. You think either side has any real interest in stopping it? Get outta here!

I don’t agree that if this illegitimate regime continues that the consequences can never be reversed.
I see three possibilities that could accomplish a reversal; 1) voters are able to reverse the electoral gains the left has achieved, somewhat problematic given the fraud in the 2020 election. It being unlikely that they are complacent regarding an honest election in 2022 & 2024. 2) another Civil War with an Article V Convention of the States in the aftermath. 3) a military coup with an Article V Convention of the States in the aftermath. But no guarantees that an Article V Convention of the States would follow either a Civil War or military coup.
Hopefully the first will eventuate but if not, the left will push the great majority into fierce resistance. Independents and moderate liberals just haven’t had their faces stomped on… yet. As we can count on the left to do so.
Plus, a recent report revealed that 94% of US Navy personnel aren’t buying the CRT indoctrination. You can bet its the same percentage in the Army and even higher among the Marines.

Laws are either enforced or they are not, there is no quantitative nor qualitative modifier to that. Saying immigration law will be applied in a fair and just manner is nothing more than propaganda to distract from the obvious refusal to enforce the law as written.
The current rate of illegal immigration is about 2 million people per year. Most of these are poor peasants from Latin America, but there are a significant number of Africans, Middle Easterners, and Asians.
The great majority of these people cannot afford the fees of the coyotes. Clearly the coyotes are being paid by Americans to transport the peasants to America. Once here, the immigrants do NOT just disappear into the slums and countryside. They are picked up by the people who paid for them. They are chattel slaves, just like the Negros of the early 19th Century.
Estimates of the number of illegals in this country run as high as 20 million. Most of those people are actual chattel slaves. We have at least 10 million slaves in this country right now. There were only 4 million slaves in the Ante-Bellum South, and we fought a Civil War over them. But they were concentrated on plantations, and easily identified. Today America’s slaves are dispersed throughout the country and economy. They work on farms, in factories, and in homes. Many are used as prostitutes, especially the children.
So, who are the buyers, and how do they connect with the coyotes?

I don’t ‘want’ either a civil war or a military coup. The first would be horrific and the second at best problematic as more often than not, once power is seized, it’s held until forcibly displaced. I just see those as 2 of the 3 possibilities. As I said, an Article V Convention would have to come in the aftermath of either a civil war or a military coup.

You know, there’s a fixed number of airfields in this country, and a governor in every state. I wonder how come it hasn’t occurred to these governors to intercept these illegals wherever they come off the plane, or wherever they are eventually deposited (in the case of using military transports to US bases), to scoop them right back up again and send them on a chartered flight to Washington DC. How come that ain’t happening? Are the illegal – shuffling networks so sophisticated and Top Secret that the State Police intelligence units can’t monitor them? Call me doubtful. I think a lot more could be made of this with some good old-fashioned bloody-mindedness and some dirty-tricks skills.
