  1. Here’s a 2008 documentary free with Amazon Prime: Dear Zachary: A Letter to His Son About His Father. The parents of a murdered man are at the mercy of a particularly heartless sociopath. The dad goes through the scenarios he could have made happen and yet didn’t. Are we better off that people don’t follow their impulses or are we worse off?

  2. Of course one group can not have any help.. can they?

Terrance Drakes (He.Him.His) reshared a post: I’m looking to connect with 100-150 Black or Latinx college Computer Science students (rising sophomore, juniors, and seniors) that are nervous about this upcoming Fall recruiting season. I want to make sure their resume is tight, they’re prepared for technical interviews, and connected to top tech companies that are hiring. Tag them below!

Does this mean people who are not like Drakes can help others like themselves?
It does as long as your not one type… note that this same thing (i pointed out years ago, and no one believed) didn’t do similar to scholarships… ie. open to everyone but only certain people get selected… Its why my sister has 5 degrees and i have none despite my going to Bronx Science… I wonder how her two boys will fare…

  3. Peonies, lilacs, and lily of the valley are the 3 favorite plants i lost upon moving to Israel. They don’t last long in our Mediterranean climate. I am told there is a breed of heat-tolerant lilacs raised in California but nobody has imported them. Peonies are grown for cut flowers in the mountains and up north in the Galilee. I think they hold the roots in refrigeration to force blooms. Tree peonies do better here.

  4. Dodger:

You’re not supposed to notice or talk about it. It’s all in very poor taste. Can’t you just be a good doggie and accept your fate?

Here, pop some yummy Sackler Pills.

No… Really Don’t do that. Sit tight and be patient. Guys like Drake have marked themselves out. Someone will remember at the right time. He’s sold himself to perdition and didn’t even get a mess of pottage or chili con carne out of it.

  5. BenDavid’s comment has me thinking that a good thread topic could be:

Why I Moved / Did not Move to Israel plus ruminations upon how one sees decision with hindsight.

I guess should be sufficient readers of this blog who have faced this decision to make it an interesting discussion.

Genuinely interesting topic and I promise to behave and not harbour any further territorial ambitions :D.
