Hats off to the writers at the Babylon Bee — 18 Comments

1. Nothing is as devastating to pretentious deceit, as satire that hits the nail firmly upon its head. A satire that skewers the mass media, is a satirical critique from which they cannot recover.

2. To be fair Ann, De Blasio hasn’t been a fan of AOC ever since the Amazon deal went down.

3. An old friend of mine who’s sort of lost his political mind over the past few years is actually trying to defend AOC with quibbles about the possible definitions of “concentration camps.” As if she hadn’t made her Nazi reference clear. Her deniability is not plausible.

4. Babylon Bee has restored some semblance of humor in these days of “that’s not funny!”.

5. Scientific curiosity and IQ, dynamic and intellegent:
Tommy : “I can get a good look at a T-bone by sticking my head up a bull’s ass, but I’d rather take a butcher’s word for it.”
“Tommy Boy”

6. >AOC is a gift. The people who promoted her made a big mistake.

Yet Trump is turning out to be better than Satan himself. Amusing how it’s all unfolding.

Sometimes it’s hard to tell which one is the satire site.

8. … Republicans immediately pounced, …

And that’s part of the satire. For, if one starts paying attention, one will notice that the Democratic operatives-with-bylines *always* say that the Republicans “pounce” or “seize on” and so on this or that Democratic faux pas. Though, oddly, when Democrats do the same (even there is no there there), they never “pounce”.

9. The best thing I’ve seen lately is the MABA hats (I’d buy one and I don’t WEAR a hat):

Make Alexandra Bartend Again

😀
