Here’s a brave person — 16 Comments

  1. Intelligent people whether straight, gay, trans, black, white, union or anything in between can always filter out the liberal claptrap of the Democrat party. I remember immediately after the election the feeling in the left leaning media was that Trump would begin executing gays in the street. If he did there hasn’t been any coverage of the slaughter.

  2. It occurs to me that the vast majority of people who become transgendered are brave folks to begin with. In this case, she may be doubly brave because she risks not getting the support from the transgender community that she might need.

  3. (Me=Post-op TS) Her point ‘being more for the individual than the group’ goes right to the heart of the matter. For those of us ‘outside the norm’ there has to be some protection from the majority, but the Left ABHORS such. I have been ‘of the Right’ since 1978, the middle of Carter’s (who I cast my first ever Presidential vote for) abysmal Presidency and have supported the GOP until 2005 (bankruptcy reform) and formally and permanently broke from it in 2008 over McCain’s candidacy. Yes I supported Trump, but not the GOP….and while leaving the Left is important to such as these, reforming the Right, specifically the eGOP is our task.

  4. Tracy Coyle,

Don’t know where to begin, if your story is true. If so, what a long strange trip and keep on keeping on is the best I can do.

  5. Parker, yep. Long strange trip but one that I would not either wish on another or change for myself. I’ve been HAPPY for 30+ yrs. TS LONG before it was accepted or ‘a fad’. And I’ve been Classical Liberal for longer. The Left, as an identity or philosophy has never appealed to me. Can’t imagine why it would to anyone ‘outside the middle’.

  6. She is right to be afraid of the Left.
I’ve linked a couple of posts on some other threads today in re Kate Millett & NOW conspiring to destroy Western Civilization (not too strong a charge; read the articles and weep), and the suppression of conservative sites at Pinterest.

    Here’s one more:

Mallory Millett added a comment to her own 2014 post at Front Page Magazine that is relevant here:
“It’s completely woven throughout the fabric of The Democratic Party. It’s not the Dems of your grandfathers….not by a very long shot! It’s been entirely taken over by the radical Marxist Left which is made up of ideals and ideas which could not be more antipathetic to everything for which America stands. Period. We’ve been invaded from within. Our largest and deadliest Trojan Horses are the Universities. We did not win the Cold War. We’ve been snookered by clever operators. They took over our children and our media and that was that!”

I am frankly surprised that YouTube has not taken down and banned all of the #WalkAway videos.

  7. 2016 – only the first Flight 93 election.

Until colleges are hiring around 40% pro-life Reps. Which I don’t expect will be seen thru the rest of my life.

My first Pres. vote was also for Carter because 1) Ford pardoned Nixon, and 2) I didn’t like our Pres. so often stumbling, almost falling, getting off planes, nor did I like so many shots of him in a suit bending over to center a football. No Dems since, tho 1980-2000 considered myself Libertarian.

The GOPe, including McConnell, remain a big problem, as he’s such an example of. Great supporting judges, lousy on immigration.

Excellent in the video how the trans person is afraid of the Left, and especially notes how they hide behind masks, and behind mobs. Very much like the Dem based KKK of the not so distant past.

Today it’s the PC-Klan supporting mob rule against Trump supporters.

  8. I’m a transwoman myself. Been post-op for over twenty years. And I found our local gender groups were *already* determined leftists back during the George W. Bush administration. After a few years of jokes about Republican stupidity and viciousness, I’d had enough, and I departed. The thing is: the Left thinks they own me, and can discipline me for departing from their rules.

They can’t. But they sure tried. I’d hate to have gone through all this from Trump’s election – Bush’s election was bad enough.

  9. By their words the LBGTetc. gang insist that we take them as individuals as they are. But, because of my political leanings, they will be damned if they will take me as the individual that I am. Worse yet, is that their perception of me is built from a wish-casting projection of the narrative that they think I should be.

  10. That’s not a “trans” it’s a man who dresses as a woman. The science has been settled for millions of years. If you have a Y chromosome, you’re a man.

  13. and the suppression of conservative sites at Pinterest.

Wait until you get suppressed like Flat Earths are, Aesop.

Also, didn’t somebody or other leadership of the LDS org say that man would never land on the moon?

He happened to be correct. Oh, people maybe “went to” the moon but… landing is improbable.

That’s because what your eyes see across this partof the Veil with your “science” is equivalent to what a six month old sees.
