Michael Avenatti, champion of the #MeToo movement, arrested for domestic abuse — 7 Comments

  1. I understand he has made two public statements.

    “She hit me first !”

“I would never hit a woman.”

    Take your pick.

  2. Guilty until proven innocent is the mantra of the left when it comes to their enemies. Now that may come around to bite them on the behind. This will go down the memory hole.

  3. His accuser is a woman. By their own ‘standard’… she must be believed. A failure to hold them to that standard is to bring a knife to a gunfight. The side that breaks the rules, calls the tune and has to pay the piper. In the real world, courtrooms (i.e. the rule of law) can only have real meaning when both sides play by the rules. To imagine otherwise is to embrace fantasy.

  4. “Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.”

    Yep…I’ll second that.
Now let’s see him get his 2 days in court. First with her and second with his creditors. Then fit him for his orange jumpsuit.

  5. He’s entitled to due process. Evidence will be weighed. It seems that there is evidence, if the report that the woman’s face was bruised and swollen is true. Authorities need to investigate both sides of the story.

There’s enough probability here that I presume he won’t be a presidential candidate. Although he’s a Democrat, so who knows?

  6. Kate, Avenatti is a leftist champion. That means he’s entitled to SUPER due process. This means the womans side in this case can be safely ignored.
    That is all.

  7. “Kate on November 15, 2018 at 7:49 pm at 7:49 pm said:

Yeah, procedural due process from the justice system. But neither sympathy nor the benefit of the doubt from the half of the political population he has set up as enemies.

If Satan’s shameless MiniMe ever encounters real justice, it will likely be the kind of cosmic justice experienced by Trotsky, and Jacques Hebert, as the fires they lit eventually overtook them as well.
